This isn't an advertisment but take it as you will
This is how Kev is spending his retirement
http://prizefightergym.co.uk/
He is still in shape, trains everyday and would be a handful for any heavyweight out there

Looks a bit bulkier I would say.

Why didn't he turn pro? He would have done really well in my opinion!

Heart not in it, in my opinion. Liked the beer too much... did Boxing cause he was big and for the perks - didn't have the dedication to make it as a pro..
But having said that, I think the same of Gammer and he did okay.

I tried to get him to go pro for years but he loved and aspired to the amateur glory.
Funding meant he earned a living in the amateurs, he has never been short anyway, and is very happy staying in the game in this way.
He was always very tight at the weight and had to train real hard to make 14 stone 4, he doesn't diet now and weighs around 18 stone.
He is the sort of bloke that if he didn't train, would weigh 20 odd stone easily.
His 3 brothers are all well over 20 stone, and are not in bad shape compared to the average fella, they are just an enormous family

Thats actually not right, Kev has never been a drinker, and he is probably the most dedicated trainer I have met

That must be a reputation.... heard some stories about him and his family on the beer fesitival in Carmathen!
His family are very hard and as you said.... Kevin is the smallest.

The reputation is certainly right for the rest of the family!

How tall is he? He always looked short (6ft) on the telly but in real life he is probably about 6ft 2ins-3ins?
He looks in fine fettle for 18 stones. Is he going to train pro fighters in that plush gym or open an amateur club? Or do both?

Kevin Evans is well over 6 foot, and still training from what i hear, in his gym like.
No way is he a drinker, occasionally he drinks but not like some on here have made out.
I can honestly say the fella is a true gent. I have often in the past had many good conversions about boxing with him. Most times when I've been on the piss (not him!) and he's been working as a bouncer. (He used to work all over Carmarthen as a bouncer)
I hope he does all the best in his gym, was a great amateur and wish him the best in his retirement.
(p.s. I say he would have done rather well in that prizefighter tournament a month or two ago if he entered)

Firstly, loving the pen behind the ear Coco!
Has Evans been in films and TV before? I'm sure he's been in a Guy Ritchie movie, or something similar.

I like the reflection of the photographers' love handles in the car door and window

He won silver at superheavy in the last commonwealths, but was at heavy for his medals in the previous two and for his world championship medal.
Going to super heavy was more about proving a point against Gammer

He didn't realise he needed a pro license and the timescale wouldn't have allowed him to get one

Seen Gammer and Evans spar on many occasions... Evans toyed with him.
Different class altogether.
Nope - Coco is definately Paul "Dennis Pennis" Kaye.
