C'mon Matthew!

How did Matthew get this chance.... he's going to get a kicking I think.

Its a tough ask for Matthew over in Italy - I would be happy with a competitive fight over 6 rounds and then hopefully he can concentrate on getting a few more wins.

Its a shame but common - a decent amateur standout who found the transition to pro boxing a bit too difficult - He has good handspeed, decent power and ability but the shoulder is a problem - I don't know if it still is.

From an outsider looking in - Size, Chin and desire are 3 of his main problems.

Butlin will give Vidoz a stiff argument I think, Paul must be confident after a morale boosting win over Colin Kenna!

Ellis is well known for backing out of fights - he has done it many times for various reasons over the years.

Yes, if Ellis got a pound for every fight he's backed out of he might have lived up to his name of the "Million dollar man". Fair play to Butlin for taking it though, good money to be made for heavyweights in Germany even if you're brought in as the opponent.

Butlins better than Ellis, maybe not in natural abillity, but has more desire and heart.

Butlin will stand up better to Vidoz, but won't come back with a win. Ellis would have crumbled in quick time.

I agree. Ellis is coming off the back of a stoppage loss to Chris Burton isn't he? I doubt it would have gone 2 rounds.

Butlin will last into the third or maybe fourth before Vidoz gets him out of there.

Vidoz fights lazy sometimes, if he does then Butlin will hear the final bell ok.

Dont know if its posted elsewhere but Vidoz knocked out Butlin in 2 rounds.
Must admit i thought Butlin would do better than that.

I was suprised also Joe. I thought Butlin could have took it to the latter rounds - did they show the fight on sky?

Vidoz v ferguson next

it either shows the gulf in our domestic heavies and even europeon level, or Butlin was out of shape and coming in at the last minute.
