Does the UK version show regular boxing live?

Also, does it show Elite XC?

No, but the do regular Behind the scenes profiles.

Never seen any Elite XC cards, they tend to show a lot of British Cage Rage and mainly Canadian TKO MMA.

Mijares Vs Munoz 'Behind the scenes' at
6pm today and repeated through the night.

They showed the Mijares-Munoz card live (over 3 hours). Was I the only one who watched/recorded it?

Coverage was pretty shity, poor picture and ads all the time missing the ends and starts of rounds occasionally.

But I have to say - what was it 5 fights shown live... that was impressive.

The picture was one of the worst i have ever seen - like a blown up stream.

I thought it was in B&W.

And to make things worse, the slotted time on Sky+ was wrong and just as the main fight started the recording finished .

:o

the fight network coverage was HD quality in comparison to the Peter v Maskaev show on channel BEN.

I've had the Fight Network here in Canada for about a year now.

TFN carries all Versus fights live, about half of the Showtime fights live (example: Haye Vs. Maccarinelli) and some PPV Mexican cards for free (example Mijares vs. Munoz). They also have European fights on from time to time, documentaries, biographies and classic boxing.

The Fight Network is very good, except they have this guy called Jason Abelson who does commentary and interviews. He has the wrong personality for the job, and he's very anti-British and anti-European in his commentary (for example he bashes Joe Calzaghe and Wladimir Klitschko whenever he gets the chance).

The Fight Network is very impressive.
These guys are on it and up to speed.

They have a before the bell and after the bell half an hour piece, previewing and reviewing fights that are about to take place or are completed.
They do press conferences, live fights and mix it up right across the board.

This way was overdue, but it's finally here.
Can't speak more highly of the fight network.
