If a boxing website reviewed this game, would you consider its views more than a videogame website/the same/less/not at all?

Thanks

More, although they may not cover all aspects of the gameplay as a games site would, I think they would give a better insight into the dynamics of the game. Therefore giving the boxing fan and part time gamer the review they erally want rather than a gamer sided review for guys that will buy the game regardless.

Personally, I want to know do the boxer move in a life like fashion, are the punches realistic and no silly super punch tricks with buttons. Are you given a realistic chance of getting to your feet again after a KO. Are the boxer stats realistic, are they taken into account when facing opponents etc.

So, basically, provided they were a gamer, a boxing fan, and could compare the fighters in the game to the real version that would be helpful.

Cool. Thanks Gareth.

Pretty much.

I have been a hardcore gamer and settled down alot over the last 5 years, I have a very keen interest in boxing (I live it lol) and would have more interest in the realism of the game rather than its gamer type review/ideals. I have no real interest in gamer points rep or achievments and think a lot of these games are ruined by unrealistic "super" punches etc.

Go on review it for us, go on go on.

Nah mate, it's not out until the 6th June and still battling through GTA IV.

I'm gonna ask the software house, once Ian approves, to try and get it earlier so I can get a review on the site for the release date. If not, it might have to be the end of the weekend, which might be a bit late for some people.

If anyone wants a review, I'm a former games designer for Virgin Interactive and obviously a boxing fan.

If Ian approves, do you wanna do it James? I'm moving around that time so might struggle to get the review up quickly. Plus, with your gaming background you're more experienced than I.

I'll end up buying the game, so a review would be good

James, Ian has said it's cool. I've tried to PM you but mine's broken at the moment. So if you wanna do it, feel free as you have a better background in gaming and I won't be able to finish the review until a couple of days after release.

Some more images. The release date has been delayed until 13/06. Trying to get an earlier copy from the PR team so I, or James, can get a review up for you in time for release.

Sure is. Briggs is a jack of all trades. He has another film coming out soon, I think.

boxrec; it's not out on PC (at least for the moment). Isn't even released on PS3 apparently but is coming out on Wii and 360.

Don's producing it apparently. He has a slice of the pie. I'm trying to get a list of all the fighters, all I know is that it's 30 current and 10 legends.

Kev just told me the Wii version isn't out until September. Boo!
