Did anyone watch Boxing USA tonight, Shannon Briggs was very impressive as co-commentator, I never would have thought he'd be a good one for that type of work.
Came across as know his stuff, without being big headed. Hope he gets more work through this debut

Do 5 show the USA Boxing (ESPN) now in Full - do you get to see all the rounds, and Brian Kenny etc?

On the boxing show you tend to get 1 undercard fight, and then the main event, sometimes if its a 12 rounder and goes the full distance they do miss out a couple of the middle rounds.
But its a good show all in all, this week might be the Herrera v Williams cruiserweight shootout, so definetly tune in for that one.

As for Briggs, he just said he was keeping his options open. He'd been offered a couple of oppurtunities for fights and was mulling then over.
Funny bit was when he was asked about his K1 career, and he said "I had one fight, won it, and got the first ticket out of there, i'll never do that again".
He said those kicks really hurt, and it was far worse than he thought it was going to be.

I enjoyed Shannon Briggs. Especially his 5 reasons why he'll never fight at 175. Always good to see a fighter taking the piss out of themselves. "I just renewed my Krisy Kreme loyalty card".

Despite the broody persona you see in his pictures he's always been an articulate, entertaining speaker when the mood took him. Never went as far as his talents should have taken him but was in some good scraps and gave Lennox a really good tussle. Took his lumps in that fight, big time.
