Auatralia Vs Thailand 2 is on 31st May at the Cairns PCYC, McNamara Street.

The night will feature some top pre matched amateur boxing match ups in support of an International Thai Boxing fight between 2 Aussies an 2 Thais, the trainer coming over just finished up on Contender Asia.

Some boxing fights pre matched, all fighters are Seniors;

Edi Ward - 2006 Qld Sunstate Heavy weight Champ, and Silver medilist at National titles 2006 Vs Cairns Police officer Mat Hogan - 8 fight experience. This fight will be at 90Kgs.

Jamie McTyre 69kgs, 20 years old, 12-5, 2006 Boxing Australia Silver medal Qld titles, Silver medal national titles. Trainer Wayne Parker Snr
V’s
Trent Fellows, 69kgs, 21 years old, Won semi final qualifier for Commonwealth Games 2006, with broken right hand, cd not fight in finals and has not fought since. 1st fight back.
Went to Russia with Tyzu fought in Australian team in Sibera.

I'm probabaly no better than you mate. You need someone who can upload photos to the net, apparently there is something called photobucket that lets you do this (it's beyond my capabilities,lol). Sorry I can't be any more help...

Sorry dont have a program, the boxing fights pre matched are listed above.
The weigh in for all fighters is between 12 and 2pm on Saturday the 31st May at Gilligans Resortf 58 - 89 Grafton Street.
The doors open at the Cairns PCYC McNamara Street Cairns at 6pm with fights planned to start at 7pm.
We are expecting to make a few more boxing matches on the day and if so the fights may start a little earlier.

There are 10 Thai fights as well as the boxing.

Gilligans have also got a two for one entry for the after party.

should clarify $100 per person table up to 10 people

A top night of action with 15 boxing fights and 13 Thai boxing fights which started early at 6pm and finished late at 1 am, but everyone enjoyed the show.
Both styles offered spectators good quality fights.
In the main senior bout Big Rick fought like a lamb and lost a decision to Clinton Eales and in the main jumior bout Owen Paterson fought well, being in total control of Jesse Berberg to take a unanimous decision.

Ed Ward put two standing 8 counts on Mat Hogan in the 1st and Mat came back to make ot a competitive fight with Ed taking the decision in the end.

Kym Willis was very unlucky to loss to Scott Mahoney and the look of surprise on the victors face when the decision was accnced said it all.

Here are the results of the boxing matches, with winners marked bold, the show was huge with 15 boxing & 13 thai boxing fights starting at 6pm and finished at 1 am, and the bar shut at mid night!!!, people just stayed and watched the last thai fights without drinking.
Over 700 people at the show
