Im fed up with Moore at british level, wanna see Jamie step up and fight Baysangurov then more international opposition. Should have a decent WBC ranking if he beats Baysangurov, who knows, a VEgas date could be looming.

Agreed mate. Ryan should fight Bradley IMHO and the winner of Moore and Baysang should fight the winner of Forrest Mora.

You're right, I would like to see him fight Baysangurov or Bunema (the latter will be better) but I would like to see Moore vs. Rhodes, and I was saying it hypothetically as it won't happen unless Jamie loses - I just wanted to see who you guys would think would win, hypothetically.

I just talked to Jamie and there's no chance of any more domestic level fights. His motivation - for quite some time - has been in moving up to the next level, but things out of his hands have prevented him. He wants to beat the Euro champ Baysangurov (WBC #8), and move toward an eliminator type fight vs a top US based fighter. The GBP guys didn't expect him to get Herrera out of there so the 5th round stoppage has hopefully created some inroads.

Good on him I reckon. My best mates dad know him a little bit and I am from Walkden as well, so I hope he gets a world-title shot - he deserves it if he beats Baysung.

Moore's hopefully got the EBU title shot coming up soon, so this effectively rules out Rhodes for a while.

Rhodes v Pryce in the meantime seems a good idea. They've both got a little way to go before being on Moore's level.

re the ratings - DLH having his last fight this year vs Mayweather down at 147, Martinez should be mandatory but why does it not say so on the WBC website?, Mayorga may never make the weight again.

I think if Moore beats the European champ, he could hopefully go into an elim with Julio or Martinez.

Not sure if it's common knowledge or not - probably is - but I've just had info saying Moore v Baysangurov has been pushed back to September...no confirmed date as yet.

I agree, I was surprised by Max's comment. Facey was spoiling in some rounds, but I think I gave him 3 or 4 at best when doing a RBR on here.

he's been trying to get international comp for a while (Martinez, Powell, Verno Phillips, even Vuma). I think the post Warren, let's-make-good-domestic-level-fights attitude has held Jamie's career back.

Fighting Facey again only gives Facey a chance to improve, althought Moore's finish was world class. Moore improves by being given the better opposition that motivates him.

The European champ is pretty close to world class right now so if Moore beats him it's a decent indicator of his level. Sime experts think Baysangurov is a big prospect.

A lot of people would rate Baysangurov as fringe world class anyway.

If you look at emersons rankings would it surprise you to see Jamie beat almost all of those guys? I'd have him fairly equal footing with almost all barring Joel Julio, Martinez (slight fav), DLH, Mayorga (never make thwe weight anyway). If he could get the fight a contest with Chavez Jnr would be good as personally I think Jamie would near as damn it beat him.

jamie i have been told will fight for the European Title in september, Maloney and Woods are looking for a 3000 seater place to hold it.Baysangurov will have a warm up fight in New York around about july time as well as jamie having one more warm up fight now the European Title has be sorted out and a date set for it.

Joel Julio would be a good bet for me, or Chavez Jr as you say. I'd actually think he'd do well against Oscar too. I just wasn't convinced with him against Forbes. He aged alot in a year. Too marked for my liking.

No chance of Jamie fighting Oscar is there, no chance at all. As it happens I think Forbes was just the wrong fight for Oscar in that he was out of range, awkward and evasive. The old legs of de la hoya would need to go looking for Jamie.

I have very good contacts in the media and in major promoters offices as well as a number of boxers who open up thier hearts to me, let me say I am quite surprised how quiet little legs (Maloney) has been over the seperation from the Hayemaker team but then money can buy silence.

One thing about him, a lot of people say that he has matured since his early days and is not as outspoken but still in love with the game.

Can the same be said about his number one competitor Sports Network and will the two enjoy any cosy dinners or drinks in Portugal this year???.

A question for all you posters who will be the most concerned about the merger of Hayemaker and Punch Promotions, Sports Network, Maloney or Hennessey?????

It could be a great year if you are a boxer signing over.

Just ask George Groves, it is rumoured that he got £25k signing bonus and £25k for his first six fights, how deep are Hayemaker's pockets.

Mind you that could be the tax they are avoiding by living in Northern Cyprus...............
