No, they wouldn't. Mitchell is a good fighter, so I don't know why you are dismissing him as if he can't fight.

He sorts out his defensive then he's a shit hot fighter who will win a world-title.

I think Mitchell's a good fighter, too. I don't really understand why he receives so much criticism on this forum.

I see Mitchell as a good fighter, who if matched correctly could win a version of a world title. Like others have said though, his defence will be his downfall. He just takes too many shots at the moment. If Johansen could land clean like he did, then a true world class operator would land at will, and stop him late.... probably with the ref ending it to be fair, as Mitchell is a warrior, can take a shot and would try to tough it out.

If he tightens up his defence, and I mean really works on it, he could go on to be a very good fighter. Time will tell if he can make the necessary improvements to reach the top.

His defence Is decent when he moves around more, the guy just likes too many tear ups though.

I am not dismissing him as someone who can't fight but I do think he has a poor defence and will get found out at the highest level.

I wouldnt put it past a tough, well schooled and experienced mexican with a 30-10 slate to beat him.

I hope he proves me wrong, shores up his defence and goes on to win and defend a legitimate world title. (ie not the alex arthur type)

I've liked Mitchell from early on, i think some of his antics in his early fights put people off, such as goading opponents and being disrespectful.
He got criticised not only by some boxing fans but guys like Jim Watt, and Mitchell seems to have listened and stopped doing so much of it, of course he's still a confident lad. Has every right to be after his win over Johannson, in that fight he showed something extra to come through and win. That can be the difference between competing at world level and winning at world level.

Think Mitchell would have won over alot of people with his last win, no lets see what he can do on Saturday, Walter Estrada should be made for him, Estrada is decent , but has been KO'd when stepping up in class, so should make for a good TV win for Mitchell. somewhere around the 4th or 5th

This comment sums it up nicely for me.

He's had a few gruelling contests and he has only just won the British title. If Kevin uses his boxing abilities from here onwards he definitely has a good chance of holding a major title (WBC,WBA,IBF), but if he keeps getting involved in brawls then he will end up as just another Alex Arthur at best.
