Brilliant Spot Ian, Cheers.... Been looking forward to this fight.
Like Ngoudjo - be interesting to see how he performs, he could be the #2 Light Welter in the world. I think he would have massacred Witter.

Would love to claim the spot, Stu, but got the heads up from my pal Bob Mee today.
I leave this type of bout to the likes of you (proper anoraks)
Nah, seriously, this should be very interesting...M'Baye seemed a shell.

Well Cheers Bob!
All full of flu at the moment, so this will be better than Bingo live on ITV.

Great spot this.

I think this could be an excellent bout. Likely to go the distance, and I think we may well see a controversial decision in one way or another.

Ngoudjo should be, at the very least, in the top three at 140lbs. he's such an underrated fighter, although I haven't seen the Bailey fight. Did Bailey win that bout?

Steve Houldsworth just referred to Boxrec as his favourite boxing site. Nice one, Steve.

I am a fan of Ngoudjo but I had M'Baye winning 115-114 and I feel Ngoudjo was lucky to get the nod. One judge had it 117-111 which is stupid. Oh, and Ngoudjo's eye was completely shut from the 3rd round onwards, so he did well, but I had M'Baye winning that fight, just though.

Has Herman got lucky again? He was very fortunate to get the decision vs Randall Bailey.

I didn't score the fight, but I don't think so. Anyway, Ngoudjo was unlucky against Malignaggi. He just seems to be in too many close fights.

Bob Mee had M'Baye four points up whilst his sidekick had him three points up. I personally had M'Baye one point up but it was a tough, hard fight to score. It's what you like I guess - the class of M'Baye or the workrate of Ngoudjo.

Same here, Stu. The commentary went off, followed by a distant view of the ring and crowd, followed by nothing. Had to check online for the result. Still, it was a nice bonus to get live boxing on Eurosport on a Friday night.

nice rendition of riders on the storm though.
i thought ngoudjo deserved it.
i thought holdsworth and whatshisface were off base with there praise of m'baye.

I agree. M'Baye was his usual lazy self. I'm glad a close one went Ngoudjo's way for a change.

predictably a boring fight. M'Baye is just too cautious and lacks killer instinct. He had the fight on a plate with Herman's eye, but couldn't make sure.
I thought he edged it but hardly the worst decision of all time.
