promoters, managers and the media in the hall of fame

i don't know about the rest of you but i have a big problem with anyone besides fighters and trainers being in the hall of fame. when the world boxing hall inducted larry merchant a few years back i wanted to puke. ok, here's all these great fighters and then here's a guy who criticized all of them and never stepped in the ring. this goes for all the other members of the media, managers and promoters. they don't belong in the hall with the fighters who gave their heart to the sport. what's next, will bloggers be eventually inducted? what do all of you think?
