for those of you who keep score when you're watching fights, i'm interested to see what your scorecards were for some of the close fights you've watched. i'll start it off with with some fights and the way i scored them. most of these will be more recent but list your scores from fights from any era.

lewis-holyfield 1, 118-110, lewis
leonard-hagler, 115-113, leonard
barrera-morales 2, 116-112, morales
byrd-oquendo, 117-111, oquendo
hopkins-calzaghe, 117-114, calzaghe
de la hoya-mayweather, 115-114, mayweather
jones-tarver 1, 116-112, jones
pacquiao-marquez 1&2, 113-112 and 114-113, marquez in both
hatton-collazo, 114-113, collazo
de la hoya-whitaker, 115-115
j. taylor-wright, 115-114, taylor
de la hoya-quartey, 113-113
mayweather-castillo 1&2, 114-114 in both
vargus-wright, 116-113, wright

i'll stop there. let the arguments begin.

I think you are pretty accurrate here.

The biggest difference I had was Tarver-Jones. I had it a draw 114-114.

Had Castillo winning the first Mayweather fight 115-113. Thought Mayweather won the 2nd.
Had Collazo-Hatton a 1 point win for Hatton.
Had Delahoya -Quartey a 1 point win for De La Hoya,
Had Pacquiao winning the first fight by a point as well.
Had Wright-Taylor a draw at 114-114.
I thought Barrera-Morales II was closer, but agree that Morales deserved the decision.
All these were close fights.
Haven't seen the Pacquiao-Marquez rematch or Wright-Vargas.
Agree with the rest.

Byrd-Oquendo was atrocious. Byrd himself didn't think he won.

all those scores look good also. just a slight difference of opinion. take the hatton-collazo fight for example, i have no problem with hatton winning that fight. it was too close plus hatton scored the only knockdown.

some of the older fights will be harder to score because sometimes the fight is not shown in its entirety on tv. hope to see some other scores here on other fights.

I don’t remember exactly my scores for some of the fights but:
Lewis/Holyfield a clear win by Lewis
Leonard/Hagler a close win by Leonard and I was rooting for Hagler one of all time favorites
Barrera/Morales 2 close win by Barrera
Byrd/Oquendo a clear win by Oquendo
Hopkins/Calzague close win by Calzague
DLH/Mayweather close win by Mayweather
Jones/Tarver close win by Jones
Pacquio/Marquez I and II close wins by Pacquiao
Hatton/Collazo a close win by Collazo
DLH vs Whitaker a close win by Whitaker
Taylor/Wright draw
DLH/Quartey close win by DLH
Mayweather/Castillo I close win by Castillo
Mayweather/Castillo II a clear win by Mayweather
Vargas/Wright a close win by Vargas

The worst for me was Byrd vs Oquendo and Lewis vs Holyfield. Two big time
robberies in my opinion. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm not going to be able to remember all of my scores. I hope that's alright.
Lewis-Holyfield: Lewis
Hagler-Leonard: Leonard
Morales-Barrera II: Morales... but I would like to see it again
Byrd-Oquendo: Oquendo
Hopkins-Calzaghe: Calzaghe... not particularly controversial
De La Hoya-Mayweather: Mayweather... not controversial either, besides some of the casual fans who saw it
Jones-Tarver I: I think I had the same score
Marquez-Pacquiao I: Marquez 114-112... I would like to see the rematch again
Hatton-Collazo: I think I had Hatton by a point
Whitaker-De La Hoya: I also thought a draw might have been fair
Taylor-Wright: I thought the draw was fair here
De La Hoya-Quartey: I had Quartey winning by a couple of rounds
Mayweather-Castillo: I had Castillo winning the first one, but I would like to see it again, and I thought Mayweather clearly won the rematch in the championship rounds
Haven't seen Wright-Vargas

Interesting topic...

De La Hoya-Whitaker: De La Hoya - 1 point

De La Hoya-Quartey: Draw

De La Hoya-Mosley II: 115-113 De La Hoya!!! Image (I will never let this go!)

De La Hoya-Trinidad: 116-113 De La Hoya (Robbery, & in the pit of his stomach, Tito fvcking knows it :x )

Leonard-Hagler: Leonard - 2 points

Lewis-Holyfield I: 10-1-1 Lewis. The worst big-money fight decision of the decade.

Whitaker-Chavez: 117-111 Whitaker. The second worst.

Pacquiao-Marquez I: Pacquiao - 2 points

Pacquiao-Marquez II: Draw

I thought Mosley won the rematch legitimately. I don't remember my score. And while I thought Oscar won the Trinidad fight, I had it 6-5-1, I wouldn't call it a robbery. Oscar-Sturm, on the other hand...

I had the same score for Whitaker-Chavez.

Lewis-Holyfield 1: 8-3-1 Lewis
Lewis-Holyfield II: 6-5-1 Holyfield
Hopkins-Calzaghe: 8-4 Calzaghe
De la hoya-Mayweather: 6-6 Draw

Pacquiao-Marquez 2: 114-113 Pacquao The first fight I had Manny again by a few points
De la hoya-Whitaker: Whitaker 114-113 but Whitaker's output was so minimal I can live with a close Oscar win

Rahman-Toney: 8-4 Rahman
Toney-Peter I: 8-4 Toney

i'll stop there. let the arguments begin.
Lewis vs Holyfield I....Maybe the female judge was one of Holyfield's baby mamas. There is no way that the fight was a draw. Clear win for Lewis

Leonard vs Hagler....Clear win for Sugar Ray in my view. I was dissastisfied for the way they fought this fight. It should have been in '82 or in '83.

Barrera vs Morales II...I did not see it. I saw fight #1, and I have scored it a DRAW.

Byrd vs Oquendo....Never seen it.

Hopkins vs Calzaghe....Never seen it, and I do not care.

De La Hoya vs Mayweather....Same FEELINGS FOR Hopkins vs Calzaghe...Gimmie real fighters please.

Jones vs Tarver I....Gimmie real fighters please.

Pacquiao vs Marquez I and II...Anyone that thinks that Marquez "won" both fights I recommend them to go to LENSCRAFTERS. Pacquiao clearly won both fights, and he deserved them.

Hatton vs Collazo....Gimmie real fighters please...I don't care about these fights.

De La Hoya vs Whitaker...Did DLH really think he won that fight? This is the beginning of the DECLINE of boxing. This is the beginning of the FAKENESS of boxing.

JTaylor vs Wright....How could this fight was a DRAW? I don't get it.   Winky gave him a boxing lesson. :TU: :TU: :TU:

De La Hoya vs Quartey....Quartey DESERVED TO LOSE because he fought like a BIG PUSSY. DLH won the last round.

Mayweather vs Castillo I and II.....I DON'T CARE WHO WON.

Vargas vs Wright.....I have not seen the fight, and I got it on tape.
