Interesting option however it doesn't mention Geale at any stage and it also says money will play a big part in whether it goes ahead. This is far from a done deal.

looks like a throw-away line to be honest. I doubt he would fight down there.

I agree.
Mundine wouldn't want to lose in his first mw bout anyway!

i just wish the guy would pack his bags and go look for a big name fight overseas (no, tasmania doesnt quite count)...he cant just sit around waiting for the fights to come to him...hes gotta be prepared to go and fight in someones backyard, even if thats 11,000 miles away....but we know what happened last time he did that, and im sure he remembers it quite well too (well most of it)

"Tasmania doesn't quite count."
There was a TV show back in the sixties set in Balmain called "My Name's McGooley, What's Yours?" In one episode John Meillon's character Wally has invited some would be Politician to the house and his sister (played by Noelene Brown) and father in law Mr McGooley (played by Gordon Chater) are not impressed.
WALLY: He was one of the first men to go overseas during the War.
McGOOLEY: He only went to Tasmania.
WALLY: Tasmania is overseas. You have to get a boat to go to Tasmania.
NOELENE: You have to get a boat to go to Manly!
Poor old Tassie. She still gets left off some maps.
