if you could make 1 fight in history a reality

who whould it be between and why????

mine would be joe frazier vs evander holyfield at the garden

why??...both are among my fav ever boxers and both are total warriors. this fight would be a 15 round war with neither man taking a back step. evander would try and box in the 1st round but would be forced to fight on joes terms , this though would also suit evander as he is bigger in joe and loves a fight.

who would win???

joe grinds out a close unanimous decision thats sees both men hit the canvas

I'd like to move Morales up to 126Ibs a year earlier, in Jan 99, then onto a war with Hamed.

A war Hamed loses by Tko 7.

Honestly, if I could make that happen, it'd be the closest I'll ever be to coming in my pants from watching two GUYS.

Johnson v. Jeffries for Jeffries' heavyweight title on March 28, 1905, 25 rounds, Ed Graney referee, at Mechanics' Pavilion, San Francisco, CA.

Why? I think a prime Jeffries would have defeated Johnson over 25-rounds. If he had, history would have changed - perhaps radically. If Jeffries beat Johnson, would Johnson have ever secured another title fight? And if he had (and presumably won), would there arose such a clamor for a white heavyweight to redeem the white race? And, even so, would Jeffries have felt compelled to make a comeback against a man he already defeated?

How about if I make 2 fights a reality?

Benny Leonard v. Mickey Walker on September 22, 1923 at Yankee Stadium, New York, for Walker's world welterweight title.

Why? This bout was actually signed and scheduled to take place. But Leonard injured his thumb in a tune-up fight with Pal Moran on August 11th, and the fight was postponed. When the thumb did not heal quickly or properly, Leonard decided to retire.

I would add Robinson to that series.

I would say Foreman-Tyson. Lots of big punches, lots of drama regardless of what happens, and eventually a great knock out, likely by George.

Marvin Hagler vs Stanley Ketchel....

One guy should've never gone down in his career, the other went 12 with the HW champ at 170 pounds. At the same time, both could punch with the best LHW's in history at 160.
