What was Fierlds playing at - why was he running in pawing with his left for? Why didn't he just plant his feet and
launch a straight left everytime Barrett came into him?

Ok yes I did but did'nt know they all boxed

I like Monte, he's not the best or most skilled, but takes his lumps and punches.
Thought he might be finished after that loss to Couser, but he's come back and should be in line for a couple more decent paydays.

Fields is extremely vulnerable and really ordinary but bear in mind that in the top weight divisions down to light-welter all the number one fighters are white with the exception of David HAye (mixed race) and Cotto (mixed race.) And 7 of the top 10 boxrec heavies are white, with 2 black and one latin.

My point: lose your double standards (and your prejudices) and also examine the data.

And PEter McNeely was not that Big. But Valuev and Klits are...and they can fight. And though fields is pretty ordinary he did only take up boxing at 24 so his prospects are likely to be limited by experience.

i think that it is you who has the problem 'E'. i am white and i dont see anything racist in the comments, white heavyweights are historically pretty shite. large american ones are classic examples of this shitty ness. cooney possibly being exemptfrom this rhino-esque statement.

Truth is I'd find it even more hilarious if the lunk had been Ko'd by a short, fat, mullet haired white guy from Montana, with a 2-18 record.

Surely you're aware of the holy grail of the Great White Hope. What you're reading about here is more the satisfaction of watching the product of a cynical boxing manager fail rather than the boxer himself.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone on this forum who enjoyed Kelly Pavlik almost getting KO'd by Taylor in their first fight because despite a black boxer dropping the white one the circumstances were completely different. Closer to reversed in fact.
