Las Vegas, Nevada (July 4, 2008) "Slick" Nick Sampson & Macke Roberts of Sin City Sports & Entertainment would like to congratulate our fighter welterweight boxer Emanuel "The Drunken Master" Augustus on his spectacular second round KO victory last night in Sydney, Australia over Jakkirt Suwunnalirt of Thailand for the WBO Oriental Welterweight Title. Emanuel Augustus is one of the most talented and entertaining fighters in the sport of pro boxing. It has far more to do with sanctioning fees than anyones nationality

I know it mainly has to do with sanctioning fees(otherwise those meaningless titles wouldn't exist) but I'm gonna guess Mollo qualifies by virtue of parentage or grandparents . He was actually defending the title in that bout having beaten McBride for it .

That fight was sanctioned for the title because Mollo lived in Argentina for a few years when he was a kid. No, I'm not joking.

They both had African ancestors...........as did we all but that's not the point .

Have to love Augustus - his fight against Ward was amazing. He fought Wards fight and matched him. He took the fight to Mayweather like few have been able to. And his style is a joy to watch, not for the purist sure, but massively entertaining.

Just watched the Ward fight again. It's quite possibly the best fight I've seen. Look at Augustus' record before the fight something like 24-17-4. The bloke was immense and arguably unlucky to lose. Ward's sheer number of punches and the knockdown edged it, but the quality came from Augustus. Amazing. Just fornicating amazing.
