The press conf is today for Arthur's first defence. It was always going to be Cook or Mithcell.

Who does everyone have for this. I haven't seen Cook since the Luevano fight and i missed Alex v Steve Foster. Will the fact the Cook gets to move up to a more confortable weight and Arthur doesn't tip the balance in Cook's favour?

If Cook can keep up his aggression, he might have a chance, I think Arthur stops him though.

Arthur by late TKO. Will be a decent fight but Arthur needs to step up in class if he wants to be taken seriously.

I'm more concerned for the weight. Cook will be comfortable, Alex won't. I thought the Foster performance wasn't great down the straight. Arthur on points maybe, but if Cook starts fast..

I'll be vert surprised if it's Mitchell. Warren is grooming Mitchell as one of his near-future cash cows, and is trying to make Arthur one in Scotland. Of the three, Cook is the most "expendable", so I'm sure he will get the shot. Warren won't want to put BOTH his top super-feathers on the line at the same time.

Not really a fight I wanted to see. I wanted Cook to go for the European title and Arthur to have an World class opponent.

Cook seemed to be overpowered in his World title fight at featherweight so fighting a guy who is strong at the weight above will be very tough.

It will come down to how Cookie can handle the power shots from a guy who is experienced at this weight. If it goes 8 rounds and Cook is still doing ok on the scorecards then things could get interesting as we will see who is fitter at the weight.

Id like to be proved wrong but I think Arthur will take this.
