I read Gerald Nobles the other day. I think.

One of those, never did it 38 year old American heavyweights anyway.

He was supposed to be fighting Tua, then just the same card as Tua, then the card got scrapped.

We will probably get an announcement soon saying that 2008 is going to be his year, how he'll fight a ranked opponent followrd by a title shot in 2009. They only really change the dates in their press releases.

Expect a fight with a low ranked British heavyweight. Or an American journeyman where Roman will grind out a points win.

Seconds Out says he will fight Cedric Boswell next month. Boswell used to be pretty decent, but has been wrapped in tissue since his loss to McCline in '03 (a fight he was winning most of the way before Jameel enveloped him). I'd guess he has enough skills to probably beat Greenberg, but he is 37 now and clearly rusty. It is, nonetheless, a step up for Roman.

Boswell, Nobles, Nicholson.....the names are interchangeable.

i lost interest in the greenberg charade a few years ago, promises of decent opponents that have contunually fallen by the way side..

He should enter the prizefighter tournament.

Nobles would outclass him.

I wouldn't go as far as saying a multi millionaire, but he already gets paid very well indeed for the fights he has had thus far.

Roman Greenburgs career is taking the piss, and to think I really thought he was going to do something very early in his career until I heard the rumours about him being sparked more than once in training.
