I think realistically we would have to hold the poll on light heavy weight.

i also believe that mundine would win at any weight but i do give green a better chance at LH. quick hands are quick hands at any weight. danny just won't be as drained at LH. would always give the green machine a punchers chance.

I too agree however i think Green has alot more to loose therefor would come into this fight very well prepared, if Mundine looses it just ties the score, if Green looses it means he is pretty much finished, i think he needs to win more than Mundine.

Anthony "The Man" Mundine hands down, as i said Green has a lot to loose but Mundine is just a better boxer.

Go Mundine.

At LHW Mundine still wins but do think green will be much better at higher weight and stronger.Mundine will have to bring his A game I wouldd say.One mistake and hes gone. 70/30 Mundine, decision.Green will only win on a KO.Still reckon he should go head hunting.

Mundine by UD. Green hasnt proved he can beat a world class boxer since he beat Lucas and that was a long time ago.

I still think Drews was world class, just night on the night Dan fought him.

I think Green is more retired than finished however if he looses again to Mundine that will be permanant retirement, no where to go from there.

Hey Boxster man,

Dont you get it.He has announced his retirement ok..He doesnt care if he loses this one,hes doing it for the money,he's wife Nina would not him not take the fight! He doesnt want to train for this he's over it.Mundine would win on points, however I think Green would go looking for a big bang as he has nothing to prove or lose!! 8) :box:

Hey Lowie,

i see what your saying but dont entirely agree, yes he has retired but to make a comeback and get beaten by your biggest enemy.....well - thats gotta hurt. I cant see green coming into this fight not caring about the outcome.

While Green's motivation is purely financial for a rematch with Mundine, I personally don't see him treating this "by the numbers" as far as training, desire or the actual fight itself. Danny comes across to me as a man who would have too much pride to take the money and run and NOT make a fight of it. He's always spoke about his supporters in an insanely high regard and it would be a spit in the face to all of us (supporters) if he didn't give 100% to everything - I just can't imagine him doing that (Mundine yes, Green no)
I think once the decision is made, and if it's a go, we'll see the Green we've all come to expect preparing for this fight. I see him not going ahead with it if he truly believes he can't motivate himself for it to the standards he expects of himself.

Mundine by UD. I dont see the point in this fight though. I'd assume it will be at LHW. Isnt Mundine wanting to fight in the middle weight? I would prefer Green having 1-2 more fights defending his belt and then retiring, and I'd like to see Mundine go to middle weight and mix it up there.

Financially i guess this is a good fight, but as far as boxing legacy goes, it does nothing.
