What's going on with him? All this talk of Hamed reminded me of this eccentric entertainer. Remember his moniker was 'Sugar Ray Clay Jones Jr' . Now called 'The Scream' on account of him wearing a scream mask as he enters the ring.

Saw that he KO'd Takaloo.
Is he still being trained by Booth?

No - he is now trained by the great Brian Lawrence over in East London.

His original nickname was stretching it, good fighter but think he is a bit fragile and lacks stamina, but BL will sort that out.

Brian Lawrence trains Ian Napa amongst others at the moment and also trained Richard Williams, good trainer.

He was at the fight on Friday I think bedecked in black leather. Sure it was him.

This kid would be a world beater - if his ability only half matched the size of his ego and mouth.
Personally I hope he's made Mandatory for the British Title soon, so Rhodes can shut him up.

What ?
You havin a laugh, Grey Fox ?
I've been around boxing over 30 years, and I know PR Marketing "Tongue in Cheek" etc inside out.
However, sometimes it's possible for boxers to get under your skin, and that's what Small does to me.
Big mouth, big ego, and not a great deal to back it up.

Baring Moore, Small is up there on the domestic level. Apparetnly he his fight with Pryce was put an end before it should ave, and Small after the fight, didn't have a mark on him.

Good little standard about that British Light Middle Division.

Flav,
I suggest you watch the fight mate.
I thought Small was auditioning for a place in the Four Tops.
He didn't know where he was.
Good stoppage by the ref.

Small was still stumbling into the ropes a good few seconds after the stoppage. I thought it was fair enough.

I tell you what I do think about Small.

He does have the right attitude/approach to the sport of boxing. I just don't know for certain that he really THINKS about what he's copying Jones et al for, other than to look good. That is, what I think, will be his ultimate downfall.

That said, I don't know him personally, and until I train with him I won't really know for sure.

When are you training with him? If you do call him a cocky fooker from me :)

Pryce had him all over the place. Small's not the worst fighter I've ever seen, but he thinks he is superb and has a lot to learn. His stamina is shite.

Sometimes people are just knobs mate, and Small is a tosser.

Just look at the nickname he gave himself. He may be a little humbler after Pryce handed him his arse, but he's often been disrespectful to his opponents and is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.
