Calzaghe - RJJ Poll.....

Quite a few people, myself included have said they fancy Jones to "upset" Calzaghe....

Thought it'd be worth a poll to actually gauge how many are siding with each.... I think it may surprise a few of us..

Additionally, if the poll ends up around 50/50 - that would suggest it's a 50/50 fight. Surely that means we count RJJ as a good opponent, no?

Please make your picks... would be interesting to see figures if everyone voted....

Calzaghe decision for me. I don't think Jones will KO Calzaghe and we all know who will win if the fight goes to the cards. Calzaghe is way too busy for Jones.

Its a toss up for me - Jones by KO if he manages to nail Joe down into trading bombs with him, otherwise JC by quite wide decision.

I'm actually going Jones decision. Although I think he could win by knockout.... for me, Jones will catch Calzaghe and put him on his arse a few times in the fight on his way to a decision.

Are you thinking that Jones will do a few times what Hopkins managed to do in the 1st round? The thing is, Calzaghe didn't need to be told twice. That instils confidence in me.

The fact that Hopkins could do it once, suggests to me that someone with a higher workrate and quicker hands could do it more than once. Don't get me wrong, I know RJJ doesn't have the stamina he used to, but he'll still be fit enough, and throw a lot more than one or two shots a round.

Joe's got a good chin, but I don't see his slaps worrying RJJ... for my money, Jones will put him on his arse more than once with counters or straight rights down the pipe as Joe steams in..

I've changed my mind I voted for JC by decision, but I think he will win inside the distance, in the same fashion as the road warrior did.
RJJ won't be able to cope with the workrate, and the volume will get to him

Not quite 50/50 then, but 5-3 at the moment....

I think thats a pretty fair summing up but I cant see Joe trading bombs with RJJ. He could get caught though and thats something Joe will have to be very careful of. Joes speed and accuracy should see him through though.

As much as I'd like to see Jones win this I doubt it'll be anything other than a Calzaghe decision.
