Here we are half way through the boxing year, cant believe its gone so fast. Anyway lads and the odd lass or two, whats your verdict on what you have seen so far. Quite a few to choose from, I will tell you mine later.

Of the fights I've seen Vazquez - Marquez III.

i enjoyed the pickering v hughes 2 fight !!!

Esham Pickering-Sean Hughes II, Rod Anderton-Hamed Jamali, Steve Saville-Baz Carey and Martin Concepcion-D Mitchell are the best fights I’ve seen live this year.

TV-wise, Tony Oakey-Dean Francis will take some beating.

Mitchell-Johanson by some way

I enjoyed Margarito-Cintron ll. Cintron started very well and landed some real bombs on Tony's noggin, but the Tijuana Tornado took his best shots with a smile, then broke him down mentally and physically.

As for domestic dust-ups, Mitchell-Johanneson was a cracker.

I am a bit pro British so Mitchell-Johanneson and Khan-Gomez. On the International scene the Pacman fight for me.

Vazquez-Marquez was a cracker...Pacquaio-Marquez II was technically probably my favourite. Ivan Valle-Jose Reyes was a real up and downer.

I'm a big fan of Margarito v Cintron II as well. Even though Tony chewed him up, he took huge shots - more than enough to make it a memorable, exciting fight.

haven't yet seen marquez-vazquez 3 though.

Domestically, Francis-Oakey is the best one, to me. Then Mitchell-Johanesson. I'm sure there were plenty more good fights, but can't remember. Have to mention Rogan-Dolan, the exciting Prize Fighter final. Good event and a fine finish, with thew underdog winning...just.

Khan v Gomez is another good one. Murray-Meager too one-sided, despite both going in there from the start.

Well it certainly wasn't Calzaghe-Hopkins, that's for sure!

I'd say Vazquez-Marquez 3 has been the best so far, although last week's bout between Cotto-Margarito is right up there in my opinion.

There was talk about Marquez-Vazquez 4 happening, but I think each guy should fight someone else in the meantime, then talk about a possible fourth bout. I mean, they must be getting sick of seeing the site of each other. Both epitomize boxing.

Mitchell v Johanneson domestically and Cotto v Margarito internationally.

Vasquez v Marquez 3 will be difficult to beat.

Also enjoyed Casamayor v Katsidis, Pavlik v Taylor 2, Pacquiao v Marquez 2 and Cotto v Margarito.

Domestically Mitchell v Johanneson stands out for me but Khan v Gomez and Oakey v Francis aren't far behind.
