just a few fights i failed to see the contreversy in, feel free to add more and discuss
Leonard - Hagler, tho i do admit i scored it closer the second time i watched it.
Ali - Norton II, pretty claer for Ali IMO, tho i did score the third fight for kenny
and more recently Cotto - Mosley. im a big fan of both fighters, and i had cotto by about 3 rounds, eben my brother who watched it with me, and is not a Cotto fan belives Cotto clearly won

In all three cases, I thought the guy who got the decision just edged it, or at least the fight could've gone either way. None of those decisions jumped out as being "bad", except for that one judge who had Leonard winning 118-110.
As I've mentioned in the past, I don't see the infamous Gavilan-Graham fight as being a bad decision. In fact, I thought Graham was lucky to lose only by a split decision. I thought Gavilan outworked him clearly over the first two-thirds of the fight, even if many of his punches didn't landed cleanly. All Graham did in that time was look to rough him up in the clinches.

After the third Ali-Norton fight the sports division of ABC had a panel of experts evaluate the fight and they concluded it was a draw...

Chavez vs Whitaker
I scored it 6 rounds apiece. Whitaker did win his rounds alot more convincingly though. But I still come up with the same score whenever I see this. Yes, I'm aware I'm in the minority when it comes to this fight.

Norton clearly won the third Ali fight, despite what some gathering of supposed "experts" concluded.

I know what you mean, somewhat.
Although I do believe Whitaker did enough to win this fight, I don't believe it was "one of the worst decisions ever" like so many people make it out to be. Whitaker controlled the whole second half of the bout, but the first half was close, and a lot of rounds could've been given to Chavez for his aggressiveness and harder punching. IMO, Whitaker edged that fight something like 6-4-2, 7-5, or 7-4-1 in rounds, but I don't agree with anyone who scores it 9-3 or 10-2 for Whitaker (as so many do).

That's an opinion...One could just as easily say Young beat Norton which was even closer on the cards...Or that Norton beat Holmes...
If Norton beats Holmes we never hear from him again or he's never mentioned among the ATGs...If Norton beats Ali in 76 , well he beat a to be 35 year old Ali...
The way I see it Prime Ali has no defeats...Semi Prime Ali has two avenged defeats...Done Ali has one avenged defeat and Well Done Ali has two unavenged defeats...That's my opinion and am sticking to it....
