and 5 of those 8 ko's were in round 1...might be one to watch.

27 year old Carlos Takam also beat Daniel Peret by TKO, and in 2006 he knocked out Harry Duiven Jr in the 1st round, who is someone who went 8 rounds with Odlanier Solis this month. Takam's record is 16-0-0 with 13 KO's.

some good prospects in the HW div coming out of france.

Have not seen Takam as a pro but was very impressed with him at the 2004 Olympics, where he was very deliberately jobbed by the Egyption (Mohamad ali,) who was beat clearly on several occasions on his route to final, which he wisely withdrew from against Povetkin.
