All the top dogs at 168lbs are busy for the rest of the year.

He should try to get a fight with guys like Green or Miranda.

Keep name in the mix.

He should just FIGHT - he won the contender and has done very little to make his star bigger in the US after great exposure.

Great fighter and he could really become a big name in the US with his style but he ain't gonna do that by being inactive.

good post. we hear of boxers not getting the opportunities and here is a guy who has the perfect vehicle to get that bit further. I am sure he said somewhere on the show that he would like to set up his family for life??

does winning the show set you up with a promotional deal? Could this be holding him back?

i'm pretty sure it does topp, from memory the first lot of contender boys all fought on the same cards around america. the bloke that sakio beat in final, codrington was supposed to be the next big thing in the states and I haven't heard anything on him. soliman has fought mundine, thats it.

I think they might fight. Up to what Sturm wants to do. (Speculation).

But it won't be at SMW. Sakio is a natural MW. He fought as low as 156 in 2005.

Bika would be a fairly easy fight for Mundine

It will be at Supermiddle. Unless Mundine fights at 160 not 162 or 164 catchweight he is still fighting at Supermiddle.

Poor choice by Sakio.

But who does this mean Mundine will fight? Boxrec has some knowledge! Its Sturm right?

I doubt Bika will ever fight at, or below, 160 lbs again. He's not a small Super Middleweight. 3 years is a long time.

Yeh sorry man. I keep thinking hes like 5 foot 8. But your right. At 6 feet. And pretty solid, hes not fighting at MW again. Im clutching at straws.
