It looks like the new season could be the one for Jamie as his first fight could be the delayed European title challenge , we await a date of Sky but the 3rd of October is looking likely.

Both Matko v Edwards and Murray v Renda are good matches.
Think Rendo may be a bit to soon for Murray, its a hard match for an inexperienced Murray to take, so full marks to him. If Renda is on form and trained well he should win.
Matko should be a bit to strong for Edwards, think that will be a points win for Matko.

The Prince Aaron result looks bad for Renda but make no mistake he can wallop a bit when he lets em go. He is a dangerman, no doubt.
Good matchmaking from VIP.

I was told that Cello dropped Arron early on and then went searching for one big shot for the rest of the fight, thus being outworked for the remainder of the rounds. But Cello can certainly bang. He is improving as a boxer as well, especially on the evidence of the Paul Smith fight earlier in the year.
Kev Concepcion wanted to fight him, but that never happened.

Matko on points.......
....can see Murray being too much for Renda, he's a handful. Depends which Renda turns up tbh.

Another badly matched show
Home fighters v Losers r us £30/£40 no wonder boxing has to sort to small show halls
bad matchmakers are killing boxing,is it asking too much, to see a 50/50 fight?

Some good match ups and some developing fights.
Matvienko, Murray, Mitchell and Arnfield are all in good 50-50 or 60-40 fights. Rare you get more than 3 on a single card that closely matched. £30 for a show is hardly robbery.

Stegsie,
Just why is there such a delay re the Jamie Moore European fight ?
I don't buy into the "waiting for Sky" line - Barry Hearn seems to have his shows and dates laid out.
Is this fight going to happen or not ?
We've been spun a few excuses for a while now - Frank, Steve etc in USA, TV etc.
I will be totally pissed off if this fight doesn't happen - and God knows how Jamie will feel.

You have an unhealthy obsession with Jamie you know. Is it integral to future plans or something?

Why is it an obsession ?
Allegedly, purse bids were won for this Euro Title tilt months ago.
Since then we've been promised dates throughout September, and lately 03-10-08.
Why are we still waiting ?
As an avid boxing fan I want to see our best take on the best.
What I can't stand though is all this hot air.
I have no idea what you're talking abou with future plans.
I have a holday in the Canaries in October, but that's about it.

Where has anyone "promised" dates? Dates have been mooted, but never set in stone (aside dec 12th when injury forced the Ukranian out).
What hot air? No news.
How come on the Haye thread it was "why do you expect to know now, wait till haye's ready to release the info" yet on the Moore thread its "I want to know now". Im sure when its time to release the info they will. I dont think theres anything sinister going on.
EDIT: Ask on the maloney signs sky deal, it says on there he'll answer questions.

Wales,
I suggest you look through the thread history.
Stegsie said 03-10-08 on the last such thread, subject to TV.
Well, Frank has his TV deal so let's see what happens.
We were even promised comment when Frank M returned from the States - about 4 weeks ago.
