Looks like miracle worker Brian Amatruda has finally gotten both parties to the table.

12x3 PABA Light Heavyweight title defence; OPBF vacant title on the line.

I believe the last show Porky headlined was sold to Sky Channel; not sure if it's been shown yet. Perhaps something similar will happen here.

The show will be a sellout pretty much before tickets go on sale, so hopefully Brian & Barry make the DVD available as I'm sure there will be a lot of interest from fight fans around Australia who are unable to attend on the night.

Great fight! Hopefully Porky can clean up the local scene and then make the step up :TU:

Nice in theory, but the reality is it won't be happening any time soon. The type of purse most Aussie fighters ask for to step in with Porky is ridiculous. Les Sherrington's team is a prime example.

After Bell, who's left for Porky to fight on the domestic scene? Zdravko? Baff? Foley? A rematch with McKay?

As for the fight itself, I expect a tough, gruelling battle. Stylistically, they match up well: both are tough, heavy-handed, walk up fighters with solid chins. I'm expecting a rough-and-tumble fight that's decided in the latter rounds.

i actually think Marlin meant step up and away (international)

if he wins this, and wants to have a real crack then there is no other option.
