Harrison v Sprott 2 (the rematch)

Apparently Martin Rogan has injured his hand and has pulled out of the 6 September clash, Michael Sprott now looks favourite to step in.
Why do you keep going on about the possibility of AUDLEY being boring vs Sprott? Sprott's not the most exciting either, and last time I saw him (vs Skelton 2), people were filing out of the arena in their hundreds.funso banjo baby wrote:mind you Vitali and wlad also shit themself whenever a punch is thrown.
strange fight for sprotty to take.....big risk factor if auds decides to just stink the place out.
however what happens if auds comes rushing out like he did in the herssissia/williams 2 and starts fireing in uppers and shit![]()
still think sprotty came take him but auds wont get caught with the sucker again...cud be a stinker
hope not

The FACT is that Sprott-Skelton 2 was a worse spectacle than anything Audley has been involved in - and yes, I include Harrison-Williams 1. That was the last time I, and probably most others outside Germany, saw Sprott fight, so it is the abiding memory. Why, exactly, is that slack?funso banjo baby wrote:

check ur facts
using skelton as a yardstick is slack to say the least
Skelton always has stinkers..hes the most akward person to fight..and yes sprotty was shit.oliverfennell wrote:The FACT is that Sprott-Skelton 2 was a worse spectacle than anything Audley has been involved in - and yes, I include Harrison-Williams 1. Yes, Sprott's had some exciting fights, but some stinkers too. Par for the course for most heavyweights these days. My point is you keep going on about Audley possibly making the rematch dull, while Sprott is every bit as capable of doing the same. In fact, he was in his shell and looked intimidated for the majority of the first Harrison fight. Hardly "toe to toe", was it? Watch it again if you've forgotten.

Why do you support fighters with big gobs Stuart? (Harrison Froch)Chambers2 wrote:COME ON AUDLEY!!!!
I do like abit of arrogance, but I got back into watching boxing at the same time as Audley, Froch and Haye went pro. I've followed them closely and discussed them all to death.WildWaylon wrote:Why do you support fighters with big gobs Stuart? (Harrison Froch)Chambers2 wrote:COME ON AUDLEY!!!!

I can't help loving the gobby boxers though (like Naz, Ali, SRL, James Toney........ Anthony Small), it's probably because I'm abit of a mouthy cunnt as well (I prefer the term charismatic, but I suppose that's down to interpretation)
To the charismatic Mr Chambers Froch makes my blood boil while Harrison just irritates me. In interviews Froch has never been humble and brags about his abilities so much I get angry watching him. To be honest I would love to support him since he lives in the East Midlands, as I do. I was never a fan of Naz or Eubanks for the same reason. I like to see fighters with confidence but arrogance is another matter. I suppose it stems from my schooldays and arrogant bullies who I always found myself challenging. I should support Harrison as well as we both grew up in the same part of London.Chambers2 wrote:I do like abit of arrogance, but I got back into watching boxing at the same time as Audley, Froch and Haye went pro.
