Apparently Martin Rogan has injured his hand and has pulled out of the 6 September clash, Michael Sprott now looks favourite to step in.

Shame Rogie got injured. I suppose we are destined never to see that fight, especially if Audley fights and beats Sprott. He'll be calling for a world title shot again like he did when he beat the shell of Williams.

Audley shits himself when ever a punch is thrown. Imagine what he'll be like against the guy who KO'd him cold. I can't see a KO in this fight if it happens. Audley will use those extremely long arms to jab to a points victory.

mind you Vitali and wlad also shit themself whenever a punch is thrown.

strange fight for sprotty to take.....big risk factor if auds decides to just stink the place out.

however what happens if auds comes rushing out like he did in the herssissia/williams 2 and starts fireing in uppers and shit :box:

still think sprotty came take him but auds wont get caught with the sucker again...cud be a stinker

hope not

Why do you keep going on about the possibility of AUDLEY being boring vs Sprott? Sprott's not the most exciting either, and last time I saw him (vs Skelton 2), people were filing out of the arena in their hundreds.

sprotty is way more exciting...he fights toe to toe

using skelton as a yardstick is slack to say the least

Good fight would also take some bollocks for audley to fight him cos he has lost to him etc. I hope it comes off its the kind of fight which would be a good come back fight for big aud.

The FACT is that Sprott-Skelton 2 was a worse spectacle than anything Audley has been involved in - and yes, I include Harrison-Williams 1. That was the last time I, and probably most others outside Germany, saw Sprott fight, so it is the abiding memory. Why, exactly, is that slack?

Yes, Sprott's had some exciting fights, but some stinkers too. Par for the course for most heavyweights these days. My point is you keep going on about Audley possibly making the rematch dull, while Sprott is every bit as capable of doing the same. In fact, he was in his shell and looked intimidated for the majority of the first Harrison fight. Hardly "toe to toe", was it? Watch it again if you've forgotten.

This fight is more significant than the Rogan fight for me, so I will be happy if it happens.

Has this fight been confirmed?

Skelton always has stinkers..hes the most akward person to fight..and yes sprotty was shit.

But i'll reiterate my point..sprotty can and dsnt mind fighting toe to toe...as he did with Aforce when he overcame a 6 inch height deficit to knock him out.

Sprott is usually in good fights...some stinkers....but nothing compares to aforce versus:

Derek macaferty
Mark krence
draskovic
francis
bonin
quinn
williams 1

my point still is .....that if audley goes into his shell...he will stink the place out.

if he goes toe to toe then we've got a fight on

but Audleys toe to toe clips include just 2 highlights....10 seconds against Hersissia..and 3 rounds against Danny...THATS IT.

I paid good money to see Harrison v Williams 1 and Sprott v Skelton 2.

They're both boring.

End of.

I do like abit of arrogance, but I got back into watching boxing at the same time as Audley, Froch and Haye went pro. I've followed them closely and discussed them all to death.

I can't help loving the gobby boxers though (like Naz, Ali, SRL, James Toney........ Anthony Small), it's probably because I'm abit of a mouthy cunnt as well (I prefer the term charismatic, but I suppose that's down to interpretation :D )

For anyone who hasn't seen it, seems as though Oddray is still without an opponent.

To the charismatic Mr Chambers Froch makes my blood boil while Harrison just irritates me. In interviews Froch has never been humble and brags about his abilities so much I get angry watching him. To be honest I would love to support him since he lives in the East Midlands, as I do. I was never a fan of Naz or Eubanks for the same reason. I like to see fighters with confidence but arrogance is another matter. I suppose it stems from my schooldays and arrogant bullies who I always found myself challenging. I should support Harrison as well as we both grew up in the same part of London.
