does anybody know, if any of the australian olympic boxers, have any intention of turning professional in the near future
agreed, and he didn't run like a scalded cat. The biggest problem, apart from the scoring, that i saw with the boxing at the olympics was the willingness of the fighters to run and hide when they got what they believed to be a winning lead. That just won't work in the pro's. Habits can be hard to break.razor7 wrote:Against the Cuban Jarrod Fletcher fought like a pro & had a good kit of punches. He looked way more suited to the paid ranks. I hope someone picks him up.
I can't stand watching that and I stopped watching the olympics after I think the first week because of this tactic. It's not boxing, you're on the world's biggest stage and you want to show your abilities in sprinting? No thanks.toppity wrote:agreed, and he didn't run like a scalded cat.
