Both Amir Khan and Joe Calzaghe are listed as being 5' 11" tall on Boxrec. That's obviously not right, but what do you think their actual heights are?

Have a look at this video showing Khan and Calzaghe together: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oC-sZ0NChlM - There's a few inches between them, isn't there?

Calzaghe looked to be around the same height as Kessler when they stood toe to toe at their weigh in. Kessler is 6' 1". So Joe's probably 6' 1".

So I think Khan must be around 5' 10". Thoughts?

Calzaghe is 5'11, ive stood next to him too

Khan? could well be 5'10

He doesnt look anything close to a lightweight in person

I have a picture with Amir, he's slightly shorter than I am, although not much, he's probably around the 5' 10 mark you know. WOnt be far off.

It looks like Khan is about 5' 9" then. Looking back on the Kristjansen fight, Khan isn't much taller, and Kristjansen is apparently 5' 7½".

may be a moot point but u tell the ladies an extra 2 inches dsnt matter

Mike the Greek the US stats guru who works with Showtime takes a measuring tape and measures each fighter himself before he compiles the graphics for the telecast. I remember him measuring Joe Calzaghe before the Kid Fire Mcintyre fight in Copenhagen and he said he was exactly six foot. Khan's a bit less.

We definitely know Khan's tall for his weight.

he is i was at the weighting of calazghe vs delaney and delaney is 5ft 11inch and calazghe was taller so must of been at least 6ft but at the end of the day what does it matter calzaghe wont fight froch

didnt notice what shoes or boots he was wearing...but it may be relevant

he looked about 5 10

his bird was the same height but she was definatley wearing wicked heels

its a perception thing....audley harrison is 6 6 but he seems waaay bigger in the flesh


painfully thin ankles tho...ive always maintained that would be his downfall

that is so true i saw him at brodie v choi i, and he was huge, a mountain of a man

id say khan is 5, 9'' - im 5 11'' and he is at least 2'' smaller than me
