I saw Big Aud's real first fight versus Middleton and the subsequent fights with Calloway and one or two others, they all escape me now. I have to say, the atmos when Harrison came in for his debut was great.

Not sure how much tubbable (well if she died the tache) soap star Tamzin Outhwaite remembered of it, as she was staggering through the exits by the close.

Oh, and no one representing BBN is welcome at SN shows as part of the accredited media - despite us saying loads of good things about the fighters when warranted.

I get loads of calls and emails from people re tickets, media etc about SN and always pass them on to the appropriate person, rather than reacting in kind.

I was somewhat surprised to get a call this morning from a gent claiming to be from Sky Sports...wanting me to put him in touch with Alex Arthur!

Did you send him to JJB Sports?

He's bound to be looking for some new trainers.

I'm very keen on watching Audley back in action, but even so I refuse to be raped again for a substandard PPV. I don't actuallty mind buying the PPV's if the bill is worthy of the wonga, as some BIG fights wouldn't happen without the finances being brought in from PPV, but expecting me to fork out 15 nicker on Khan Vs JohnnyCab is bang out of!!! Instead I'll spend some of my 15 sheets on a few sleeping pills and snore my way through it to avoid any temptation. Thursday evening repeats are a god send

Warrens had to dig deep to keep Khan in his depleting stable and now his only way of recouping the money is through PPV revenue (I presume Setanta wouldn't cough up the dough he wanted, so he fucked off cap in hand to Sky). Time (and PPV sales) Will Tell us if this was a good decision from Frank, hopefully the British fans will vote with their remote and crush this ridiculous Khan Vs Who? PPV venture before it starts, but after the amount that turned upto see Hatton beat Lazcano I won't hold me breath

Setanta are golden showering Sky (i.e. pissing all over them) with their boxing coverage and the amount of wonga they ask for, I hope Setanta are as impressive this year as they were last.

Ah 'the entertainment business' at it's finest. These celebrity boxers have more in common with The Contender series than the professional sport.

Groomed with glossy magazine articles and tv adverts - then they knock out a bum and then drive home in their Bentley / Range Rover.

It must be said, the lion's share of the people that attend these shows know nothing about boxing, yet if you go to a lesser Hennessy or Maloney show it's all die hards of the sport in attendance.

I recall making a cuppa at work and someone told me they had gone to the Manfredo fight with their 2 mates and how the KO was awesome. It was their first boxing match.

On one hand i was glad that a member of the masses had decided to go to a fight, yet on the other i was saddened as they chose a truly sh*te one to go and watch. It was a sinking feeling, almost like when you hear someone has paid full price for something and you know it's available with 50% off down the road. Like they had paid way over the odds for something that wasn't worth half that.

I imagine that 80% of the pundits will be Pakistani teeny boppers watching their idol - but even they are tiring of the mismatches now i am starting to read on his fan sites.

Me? i will watch a stream from china or wherever unless i'm busy filling my biro or stroking the dog.

He has made a point of fighting all over the country... London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol, even Liverpool, which isn't too far from you, and one of his supposed biggest fans is only now going to see him?

There isn't border control at the edge of greater Manchester, you know.
