early in his career u could be forgiven for thinking he was, but i now do not consider mundine a power puncher. his power is over rated.

whats everyone else think?

I wouldnt say power puncher but he can bang. His power is more from his speed and ability to land flush.

I give his power a B.does have some but certainly not a big hitter(or power puncher as you put it).Think some of his early Kos were more opponent chin related.Dont think he has enough to really concern the top fighters.

Self imposed. The place is full of hatred, racism, and bias based on nationality.

I don't want to be a part of a community. That can't contribute and talk boxing as it really is.

I also baited a lot of people. But thats in the past. Im more than happy to post here.

Um bit of a weird question. As far as Mundines power goes its good. But hes not that powerful. Its the speed and timing that make him powerful.

I was ringside for Soliman vs Mundine 2. And that right he landed in the 2nd round. Was an abolute bomb! I mean i haven't heard a punch land like that. It was time perfectly. One of the best punches i have ever seen. Anyone agree?

I don't think he is a 1 punch knockout type of guy. He can be, but he needs to time it perfectly.

I don't think he can stop world class opponents. I mean his best bet against Pavlik, Abraham, Calzaghe, Bute, would be points.

But i do think he has the power to stop Manfredo, Sturm, Castillejo, Sylvester. These 2nd tier, borderline world class fighters.

^^agree that the soliman punch was a NASTY punch. also agree with your delineation of who he could knock out at the higher level.

like others have said i dont think hes a real power puncher, but the combination of speed and accuracy give him decent and probably above average power in his division , whether it be super middle ,middle or somewhere in between
