Depends how many hotdogs he eats before the fight..
But im just going to say Two Ton as he has been in alot of fights that were longer then 4 rounds and butterbean has only had one 10 round fight and lost.. and that loss was too an old unfit Larry Holmes.

I doubt it would go the distance they are both too unfit, they would probably get so tired they just fall over..

What the hell is this love for the Bean? He would get wiped out by any D-level fighter past or present! Galento was a bit of a circus act but he did have some substance and a reasonable resume. Bean's best win is over Peter McNeeley and he's beaten by Mitch Rose, Baden Oui, etc, FFS.

Galento certainly had his flaws, but he was certainly a higher level of fighter than Butterbean.

Butterbean was a Four round fighter fighting fighters that were at the lowest level of boxing, and Galento fought 10 round figher.

On average, guys fighting in 6 rounders are better than those fighting 4 rounders, guys fighting in 8 rounders are better than those fighting in 6 rounders, and guys fighting 10 rounders are better than those fighting 8 rounders.

Comparing Butterbean to almost anyone good enough to fight 10 rounders is sort of like comparing a minor league baseball player in "A" Ball to a major league player. There is a huge gulf in ability.

Butterbean would not have been even a fringe contender in any era, even a weak one.
This isn't to say that Butterbean wasn't entertaining or good for boxing.
He just wasn't near the level of a fringe contender or even a journeyman.

Butterbean was a joke, plain and simple!! as is this thread!!

Two Ton was a character - but he did deck Joe Louis and he fought some barn burners with Nova and Baer.

Butterbean - well, he's not really a fighter, not even close....not even an impersonation of a real prelim pug.

..galento would have slaughtered butterbean and eaten hot dogs in between rounds while doing it. there wouldn't be many rounds, so it wouldn't take al that many hot dogs.

i remember i posted this exact matchup hypothetical when i was under a different name about a year and a half ago
and that one member who eventually got banned from boxrec,known as "Decegon" flipped out on me,in his bigtime Macho
E Tough Style.He was like,..."Oh,what the f,what the f is you're problem,you should be banned you troll,you this,you that,blah,blah,blah....Like it seriously upset and offended his own personal dignity or something.

Anyway....Yeah,...This would certainly be an interesting battle of definite novelty value if nothing else.
I see Galento having the advantage ironically because of his small stature which i believe would weigh
in his favor.Butterbean loved using the overhand right,but only on taller fighters,or at least on those who were the same height such as Louis Monaco.With Galento being a mere 5-8 or so,Butterbean would'nt have been able to incorporate this bread and butter equalizer punch of his and Galento would be able to most likely totally avoid this main weapon possessed by The Bean.

I think that Galento would most likely land some of those same punches he decked Joe Louis with being that The Bean wasnt that hard to find and being that Galento could most certainly get inside where he'd need to be...He'd get in those vicious and brutal Two Ton blows of his and The Bean would soon be Reeling around the ring and soon thereafter,would be likely sprawled out across the deck struggling hard to get back up.

I would have to say,(Galento by Tko in Round 3)....Ref stops it after Bean looks dazed after the 2nd kd as he barely makes it up before 10 and clearly doesnt look good to continue.

As soon as the left hook landed, the fight would be over
