From ESPN : Bika vs Manfredo. Mundine vs Espino : In US

After first-season "Contender" star Peter Manfredo Jr. (31-5, 16 KOs) knocked out third-season participant Donny McCrary in the second round Aug. 22, he called out third-season tournament winner Sakio Bika (26-3-2, 16 KOs). Manfredo is getting his wish. In his hometown of Providence, R.I., Manfredo is slated to face Bika in a super middleweight fight Nov. 13 on Versus, the network that picked up the fourth season of "The Contender." Two other notable fights are also in the works: Jaidon Codrington (18-2, 14 KOs), who hasn't fought since Bika stopped him in the November finale, against New Zealand's Daniel McKinnon (12-3-1, 6 KOs), and ex-super middleweight titleholder Anthony Mundine (33-3, 23 KOs) of Australia in his U.S. debut against former "Contender" participant Miguel Espino (19-2-1, 8 KOs). "That's the card we're trying to finalize," said Tournament of Contenders promoter Jeff Wald, who is working on the show with co-promoter Jimmy Burchfield. "We're excited about this card and our new home on Versus," Wald said.

I wonder if Munide would agree to fight on an undercard where Bika is headlining?

He will have to , Bika is a far bigger name in the US than Mundine.

wait and see i guess. just wish something concrete would come out-while the announcement seems so i have hear talk of the taylor show being a goer too.Surely Mundne would not be lame enough to forego US exposure to beat shannon up.But then it is Mundine........
dont think i will believe anythingn till he gets in the ring.Be funny if he is on the undercard of Bika. A bitter pill to swallow for an egomaniac like Mundine.

Id be shocked if he ended up fighting Espino. He will probably demand to be the main bout. In providence. Could you imagine that 5000 manfredo fans.
But i think you can pencil it in. Shannon Taylor in November. So he can get mandatory status with Sturm. But i really doubt he will fight Sturm. He won't fight in Germany and the US won't care. Meaning no way Sturm comes out of Germany.
Another terrible decision. From the worst management team in boxing. Who think they will die with money in there coffin.

SSo lets make a fairly safe assumption(!!!!)hhe fighhths Shaannon.Ddoes anyone think taylor has a chance.Id give him 3%.Think at this stage of his career and this weight he will just be too slow.
question is how much punishment will he be able to take(tho i cant see mundine hitting him alot as he will be fighting defensively)and whether or not mundine can KO him. Ddont rate Shannons power much anymore but he is a seasoned pro and figure he does have A shot to drop Mundine.cant see it landing tho(but again recent history of mundine suggests shots can be landed and would still rate taylors power above Kim/Hamden/Soliman).reckon he has to go headhuntning from the start ie just go for the KO.he wont win on points and if it goes past 6 he will be farked.Thoughts anyone????

No way this fight is competitive. And Taylor doesn't have a 3 % chance, its much lower.
Two groups should be held responsible for this if the fight was to happen. Shannons manager and the sanctioning bodies. Its a grose mismatch. Shannon could get seriously hurt.
I saw Shannon get dominated in the first 7 roudns against a guy with 5 wins and 4 losses earlier in the year. Plus he came into his last fight at 167.
Boxrec is reporting that Mundine vs Espino is official though. Have a look at it.

Taylor will go down early, it will be like Etienne when he fought Tyson. The first time he gets hit he will go down and stay down, it doesn't matter what the punch is like, he will just go down then pick up his pay check and go on his way...

Yeh i tend to agree. It wouldn't last more than 2 rounds.
Boxrec is saying Epsino though?

if he can get the mandatory with sturm he can outbid sturms people and have the mandatory wherever he wants if he is hoping for a mandatory that would be the reason

But when does the Danny Green rematch come into play?
Because a fight with Sturm would take another 8 months before becoming a reality.

The only chance that Mundine will fight Taylor is if he can fit it in before November the 13th. He might fight Taylor within the next 3 weeks.

P.S people are hinting at Mundine wanting a fight with Pavlik. Because Espino is 6th with WBC. And Winky vs Arthur is in the works. Maybe just maybe hes seeing some sense.

My point was hes not going to fight Shannon Taylor.
If i had to have money on something, i would put half on Ouma here in OZ. Or half on Espino in Providence.
If Mundine was to take the undercard providence fight, that shows me hes serious about Pavlik. He'd be earning a lot less than normal. But it would sky rocket him up the WBC MW rankings.
