Flew down for the show and was not disappointed, top entertainment good competitive fights, McCullen fought well and I thought Cotterill was gone in the fourth but he came back and made it a sew saw battle all the way.
Briggs fought well behind a solid jab but did not have it his own way and Wilson looked like taking it at more than one occason but Briggs regained composure and won.
Thought Klint Luby was unlucky to get a draw as I thought he dominated the fight in three of four rounds.

So Thanks to Ace promotions for a top night

I agree mate, It was one of the better nights boxing that Foxsports has had on for a long time. Commentory was great and the fights were well matched up without the usual mismatches. Its the first time ive seen McCullen and he is a great fighter.

Would like to see him fight Lenny, They both have similar records and experience so it would be a really good fight.
Briigs fought one of the best fights i have seen him in, It was a great display of using your jab to keep an opponent off his game. With Paul in his corner he will be making some noise in the heavyweight division in this country.
I think Paul Briggs will make a great trainer, He was composed in the corner and gave really great advice.

Yeah Ross, I thought Luby was unlucky to get draw also. Even with the point off I thought he had done enough. Great night of boxing.

Diddo Luby unlucky, and best performance by Briggs.

Leapai Is a Big puncher, and has some fantastic punching angles, does leave himself off balance when he miss's though, could cost him later on.

I cant believe i'm about to say this, Colin Wilson is a hard Bastard, tough as they come.

Leapai hits a lot to the back of the head, He may get DQd in the future.
Colin Wilson is a tough guy he takes some big shots, Imagine he trained hard.

Don't know WHERE you got that one from, I saw one bloke push another in a shouting match well after the show and that was about it

Saw that as well, but DiCarlo was straight onto it and it was defused very quickly.
Alex does hit hard and i think the opponent kept turning his head to try and avoid the shot, which meat Alex hitting him around the back of the head.

Wilson really could have competed on the world scene much better if he trained at all, and yes he is one tough bastard.

Hardly a gang fight though eh Ross?!

Yeah afterwards I spoke to Fidel Tukal about the rabbit punch and said to him it started out a legal shot that Moyoyo turned into a foul when he ducked down. Ironically enough Alex was badly hurt by a rabbit killer earlier in his career when he inexplicably turned around and walked away from Baden Oui

Moyoyo did turn into it, Im more refurring that he does it in a lot of fights. It has a bit to do with the way he throws his shots and probably more to do with his opponents turning away as they no its going to hurt.

Ben - I see where you are coming from and it is a real looping kind of bolo so you are probably spot on the money.

Ross - Fidel Tukal is Moyoyo's manager and BHS manager, Oui stopped Alex in the 4th, he never recovered from the rabbit punch

Agree about the punch it wasnt straight.

Was Fidel wearing glasses?

And that would have been a good win for Baden and he did beat Butterbean but never capitalised on the wins

Ross - spot on, Baden was a real improver under Gavin and did V well IMO to put stuff together - his fight with Peachey as well was very entertaining. Fidel was in the corner with Lincoln on the night, the young bloke with the dark hair

Do you mean Gavin James?

And he had a white shirt on and was tatooed?
