I didnt give it 98-92 mesel, and I could have seen the draw as feasible. Harrison was not as agressive as Arias, despite the size and weight and reach advantage. Does anyone else think that such a timid performance has actually weakened his CV?

Sprott rematch next? Preferably over 6 or 8 rounds. Either that or they do it in the dark. Just so we we don't get over excited watching it

If Audley can pay his bills fighting like this then fine. But on performances like that he'll never get a shot IMO.

Pretty dreadful admittedly, but then I think we (or he) should be scaling down our perception of what a "shot" entails ie. he should, finally, get the Lonsdale for starters. If that means another fight with Williams so be it, even if it is a stinker. I know our Odd has managed to put half the British public off boxing for life, but at the same time I'd hate him to retire with nothing to show for it. And it's not like age is a problem for him. He's so innactive in the ring that in boxing terms he's about 23.

arias did better than i thought, i saw nelson nearly finish him in the first about 6 years ago, so i thought even a pathetic audley would sort him out. congratulations to george on a decent performance.

audley blamed his performance on his opponents durability and the fact that he could not get any videos of him......what o load of tosh. arias was beaten in 12 rounds by johnny nelson about 6 or 7 years ago...dont sports network keep records?

And the funny thing was... he mentioned the Nelson fight in the Interview explaining how tough Arias was.

I thought maybe the Post Fight Press Conference he might have said "Well, a fella called Rhino publically slated the size of my packet... so I felt pressured to be a man and the presure got to me".

Heaven knows I'm no fan of Aud, but as his fights go, this was reasonable. there was a lot more action than in his previous contest.

And he clearly won it, I had it 97-93. Arias wasn't effective with much.

The fans were extremely harsh on Audley as always, it was embarrassing. They'd made their minds up before the fight had started as they started booing in the first round!!

Audley comfortably won, it was nowhere near a draw IMO. George looked a difficult opponent to look good against and didn't come with much ambition. Bring on the next opponent for Audley asap

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, Audley was stopped in 3 rounds in his only English title fight.
Maybe he should try and win that before going for the British title

You dont win Fights by Hitting gloves. I made it very close.

Audley talks shit, is shit to watch and even FW seems to think so. He stunk the place out and only occasionally put in a bit of an effort in the closing rounds. He will never amount to anything and will never entertain despite his promises.

Right man won, but I think a 96-94 verdict was closer to the truth than 98-92.

I had it 5-4 Harrison going into the last.

He looked pretty vulnerable there.
