Not sure how widely known this article is but I'd not read it until I found someone refer to it on the boxers of the past forum

Its an old one the article. Talked to the top neurosurgion in Britain at some length. Who told me they were more concerned by Brain damage in Footballers rather than Boxers with the study they are doing.

I once read, heading a goal-kick away is equivalent to being punched by a middleweight.

Now whether that's by Julian Jackson or Ojay Abrahams is unclear.

If we continue to witness fighters boxing into their late thirties and early-fourties you cannot help but conclude, we will see more rather than less instances of this condition.

I don't particularly like heading a modern football, but one of those tough, old, leather ones? No way, Jose. That must've HURT.
