he has switched to Glyn Rhodes , but still has to see out the remaining couple of months of his contract with the Ingles first, should see Amer back in action before the end of the year

I have no idea why Killa's career stalled.
He was never full time pro, and has a full time job driving for the ambulance service, mainly getting the elderly to hospital for their appointments.
He's a great kid, with a great attitude, and perhaps with more dedication to the sport could make a reasonable living.
There was big talk in Sheffield of an Area Title match up with Boyle - ironically also with Glyn.
Maybe when the contractual wrangle is out of the way, that fight can be made.

The best laugh ever with Killa was when Amir Khan was on a crest of a wave towards the end of his amateur career, getting loads of pubilicy, and The Sun ran a massive article on him - with Killa's photo alongside.
There's no such thing as bad publicity.

Anyone else remember that Cruiserweight clash of youngsters agreed on DHB back in the day.
It was one of Aston's prospects versus another fellow from across the border.
Was one of them Simon Francis (pulled that name out of my arse), they talked about making it, then agreed to next year, which was probably 2006.
What ever happened to either. I seem to remember Francis did well on a Gibralter card in the interim....again all hazy recollections.

Just about remeber it, Dave.
Simon suffered a bad shoulder injury, and has made a couple of attempted comebacks, but nothing materialised.
At the time he looked hot at the weight domestically.
Not sure what he's up to right now, but I'll ask Dave Coldwell.
