Foreman/Frazier I question

I saw the fight on ESPN Classic (I'm under 30) and wondered why Foreman
was allowed to shove Frazier around so much. I've never seen a ref even have to deal with pro-wrestling moves like this, much less have to discipline
someone for it.
That said, I enjoyed the match (and the pushing and shoving) quite a bit. :)

Maybe if you want give Joe some company while he's on the canvas.

I think a lot of it probably -was- the guy being afraid to get in George's way.
I haven't seen too many classic heavyweight fights, but if there's someone that could punch much harder than prime Foreman he should have been locked up for his opponents' own good....

saw the fight live tv and have watched it several times..films and tapes are from different angles, which gives a great perspective. When George pushed Foreman the first time Dick Sadler, from Foreman's corner, ran along the outside of the ropes and yelled at the referee for warning Foreman, and then gestured to Foreman just to keep on punching. this may have influenced the referee. Plus..there was so much fast action following...Frazier was down again quickly as I recall..that the warning became moot.. and referee was to busy counting over Frazier to do much else.
As for power, one of Foreman's punches literally lifted the solid Frazier right off his feet!!! The word awesome is overused, but not when it comes to Foreman's power.

I've seen video of George punching a heavybag, and he dented a couple so badly that they looked kinda like hourglasses, and they wouldn't return back to their original shape. Does anyone know the weight of these bags? Thanks
