Be part of the Alliance, leave the Empire and sign with the good guys.
A magazne show that features fighters from rival channels!
Should be all the reason you need.

I feel guilty for not going to many live boxing shows, so to ease my conscience I contribute to the boxing industry by buying all the sports channels (Sky and Setanta) and will continue to do so.
Maloneys one of the 'good guys'

Getting rid of Sky means no Maloney, Warren or Matchroom bills.

Also all the proper premiership games, champs league. Setanta football coverage is shite, the commentry teams are very poor! I only have Setanta as its free with Virgin.

The boxing coverage is top notch though, they may not be on par with some of the other channels in terms of presentation yet, but they're the muts nuts in terms of the fights that they're showing.
The presentation doesn't bother me tbh, the main thing is that I get to see the fight

i definitely plan on cutting down me sky package.
don't think i'll dump sky sports though.
like me football too much and sky always show the big matches.
but yeah sky sports are nowhere near what they were.

Will the competition between Setanta and Sky mean cheaper subscription?
It doesn't seem to have had much effect so far, to have Sky sports is around £35 per month, which hasn't changed for a while.
Setanta seems to be creeping up in price, i'd expect another hike there in January, just after the christmas rush.
No wonder some people (not me of course), will watch these channels for free on internet streams.

I would have agreed with you a few years ago - but now with the advent of sites like justin.tv and the eurovox boxes you can watch almost ANY bill on the net or via your broadband cable.
