Based on tonights bill I say HAYEMAKER did a great job.

Good even fights and entertaining.

Good - even - entertaining.

You never hear that about a Sports Network Card so it..

1-0 to HayeMaker!

Agree?

Right eye quite swollen.

Round 3!

He throws lots of punches but he bores in too much with his head - hence the swollen eyes!

JW is taking some shots - he is shaken!!!

His eye is a mess!

He is cut on the left eye and swollen on the right!

That eye is going to get him stopped!

The eye is almost closed!!

I doubt that eye lasts one more round!

I agree, they have to keep it up.

I doubt we would ever see a Lindsay Vs Matthews type fight on a Sports Network card.

So far so good I say. I remember when SN were on SKY with some of their crap bills and I would not watch - they were that bad!

He won 36 of 42 fights and represented England seven times but turned pro at 18.

Central area belt, whatever that means (midlands?) The Outlaw Josy Wales, hang on wasnt that a Clint Eastwood film, fought like a c*nt. No defense, got caught too much and was stopped with nasty eye injuries. Lot to learn, who does he think he is, Amir Khan. Sorry a bad example, have to think of another.

Well, lets be fair here. Matthews-Lindsay was a corker, for sure. But honestly, would you class anything else on that bill as a good even fight?

The Main Event was a decent scrap, but pre-fight odds of 1-16 on Rhodes and the fact that 2 of the judges had it that he didn't lose a round tell a clear tale. OK, it was good- and Coyle was very brave. But hardly an even fight. Only slightly during the middle rounds did the result appear to be in any doubt.

The Wales fight was ended on an unfortunate injury, but if it hadn't been for that, I doubt that the result would have been anything other than a predictable win for Wales.

To be clear- It was a good show, and some enjoyable action. But in all honesty I wouldn't say it was any more "even" than any Sports Network show.

That said, Sports Network's show next Saturday looks remarkably weak- a series of unbeaten prospects facing... unnamed as yet opponents. No doubt guys with long losing records.

So fair play to Hayemaker for putting on an enjoyable show!
