JAMIE MOORE – His fight against European Champion Zarurbek Baysangurov has been put out for Purse bids again after the EBU refused to strip the champion for pulling out of another set date . All at Team Moore are disappointed at this and Jamie himself feels that the fight is not destined to happen and has instructed us to look at alternatives whilst this fiasco drags on.
MIKE GOMEZ - In agreement with all parties has left Bobby Rimmers Stalybridge gym to train with Kevin Maree in Burnley .The new set up has a hotel on the complex and Mike has agreed to move in there during his camps so he can be fully focused on what is the tail end of his career. Mike wants to get 2 quick fights in before having another crack at a title and if he can be matched will box at Colne this Sunday on a VIP promotion – a real treat for the locals.
SHAUN HORSFALL –Has withdrew from Sundays show with a rib injury that is not only sore but affecting his throwing of shots.

Jamie has been f*cked around enough by Baysangurov and the EBU, so hope he gets a look in at world level instead.

Sweetscience ,
The original money that Frank Maloney offered and was accepted in a contract for them to come to the UK was more than generous . Circumstances have now changed and that it why it has gone back out to purse bids , please do not make comments about people if you do not know the facts.
Me and Jamie are more than happy in how his Promoter has handled this delicate situation.
Thanks and keep supporting the lads , Matt says your not a bad lad for an idiot.

When is the last time Fwanky delivered a world/EBU title fight against the champion in a mandatory? Usually the champion elects to move up or gets stripped and the Brit faces a no-name for the vacant title.

im not talkin about bangywhatisface
its seems that you can only hit the world stage if you pay your oppo serious money
hennessey only seems to get his boys world shots by going the mandatory route, which takes a shit load of time ala Froch, witter etc etc, both are old and lost peak time due to this and jamie must be 30 himself
only fw seems to get his lads the shots, cause he is willing to pay the initial outlay, and then attempt to recoup his investments when the title is secured, Hatton/Zoo (althou it back fired), calzaghe/Lacy - and even lower tiers fighters Rees/Maybe/Enzo/Lockett get shots
just feel that if some £$£$£$ was invested by his promoter Moorsey could clean up in what is a bad division & an exciting style

Should be interesting times ahead. Jamie told me himself he wasnt sure if he wanted to go through purse bids again.. whats the point if the russian aint gonna turn up? Waste another 3 months training? Suppose the only way is if theres something in the contract stating any poull outs and the title becomes vacant.
Is Dzinzziruk due another fight soon? How about Karmazin whos been to the UK before, Sachew Powell who has been mooted before or a contender type fighter liek Bunderage or even someone like Santos whos also been to the uk before.
Am I aiming too high herE?

Whats happening with IBF champ Verno Phillips? He wouldn't turn down a good payday.
And i'd put Jamie as a favourite to beat him.

Isn't Duddy fighting him, or did that fall through?

Baysangurov should have already been bloody stripped, get another fighter in and let them have it out. Winner should get a world title shot.
Oh to live in a world where that would happen.......

Well the latest is that Ronald Hearns is going to box Duddy in an eliminator, both Hearns and Duddy have a fight lined up in the next couple of months , and both should win these, then the plan is for Hearns and Duddy to clash in January at Madison square garden.
So Phillips is still looking for someone to defend against. Although i think Paul Williams may get a shot at him.

Does poor Moore wear a shirt that says "mess me around"? Gutted for the guy, because he is genuinely a quality operator, and needs to make the step up in class before it's too late.
I really don't know where he can go from here. Surely, surely he must get a break soon.

Exactly......Duddy - while over-hyped - has at least got in with some decent fighters, while Hearns is nowhere near as deserving as Moore.
He surname of Hearns on Duddy's record would obviously please some.
Gutted for Jamie, he deserves better.
