Err no one wants Vitali v Valuev
Vitali will probably lose to Peter anyway, mind you that's if Dr. No Balls doesn't pull out again.

Campbell is promoted by Don King, Klitschko is self promoted (K2 Promotions), Valuev is promoted by Wilfried Sauerland (I think) and Prescott is probably promoted by Warren now (if he put promotional options into his Khan contract)
Why would these disparate parties all come togeher to offer this sort of card to be held in London?
Just doesnt make sense IMO.

Yea… as I said Vitali/Valuev will happen this year; the optimistic view is that it’s held in London i.e. offer the 2 teams what they want and rake in the revenue.
You are a very strange man.

What makes you so sure that he'll beat Sam Peter?
Vitali hasn't fought for almost 4 years now, that is a hell of a lot of ring rust he has to shake off against an active opponent.

You realise that Valuev has only one more fight this year - 13 December v Chagaev? It's being held in Germany too.
Of course the rematch of the century Guinn v Harrison is too big not to happen so i'm with you there.
SuperHeavyweight you're certainly a
unique individual...

Valuev's not fighting Chagaev until next year. ->

Meehan is currently the favourite for the fight in December. ->

Am I in a parallel world here.
Is Cloughie still manager of Forest?
Is Kim Wilde still bangable?
Is Tetley's still 94.5p a pint?
Come on, there are better parallel worlds than Harrison v Guinn II?
You could have Harrison v Negus II in the car-park for a start,

These would be exciting fights if they happened. They all involve a real risk to the fighters. Boxing is a business, so if the money is not right, such fights are not given priority by the fighters management team. Why risk a loss when there are easy pickings around? Sad but true.
On Valuev, I would say that he needs to win over Chagaev first (rematch) before cashing in his chips agaisnt Vitaly. Vitaly also will rather fights smaler men with greater crowd appeal, therefore for a higher purse, than risking a loss to a lucky punch agaisnt a huge guy. Vitaly is favorite in this fight, but he does risk a lot too.
