Possibly, although Mick has got a fair few dates to fill, so he may keep have a seperate bill

If Junior's top of the bill and the undercard's week, then God knows how tickets are gonna sell - and that's from one of his fans.
I can't see it carrying a bill in honesty, so a chief support may be the answer.
That said, I think we're a million miles from there being any deal for the fight anyway.
Hopefully now Mick has sorted his TV deal out, we'll see something start to happen - for Junior's sake.

Talk of him going in with WBC #1 Devon something or other.

I don't see him fight Devon Alexander straight off, he'll take a fight first. Alexander pretty good.

Branco for the EBU is the way i see him going. Thats a good level too. Witter isn't at the stage of his career where he can go much further back.

Spoke to Mich Hennessy last night and he said he was going to the next WBC cionvention to push for an eliminator against number 1 rated Devon Alexander. Said he'll be keeping him "active" until then though.

It always tickles me how 26 claims to be a Witter fan whilst sticking the knife in his back :shame:

Show me once where I've done such a thing.
The only criticism I've made of Junior in the past is his obsession with Hatton, and his lack of marketability.
As a fighter I have said over and over again he has an abundance of talent and I am on record as saying time and time again he would beat Hatton.
I have not missed a Witter fight in the last 10 years - have you ?
Stop being an arsehole Beagle - back in your kennel.

Mick certainly does his best by Witter.

Unfortunately Junior is a tricky customer and nobody fancies fighting him and now he's NOT got a WBC title around his waist it makes it even more difficult.

People like Junior can seemingly only get fights via the mandatory route it would seem because of this.

I believe that the Hatton fight could possibly have happened in 2009, if Junior took care of Bradley in style, but it just wasn't to be.

I was ringside for that fight and in the first round I sensed that Junior was going to take Bradley's head off.. but it just never came together for him and the Bradley just kept buzzing in and out for 12 rounds solid. Junior seemed lethargic almost, like something just wasn't right.

Bradley may not be the cutest fighter, but he certainly is strong and has the energy to give anyone trouble.

I'd echo every word of that good post :TU:

btw i think Bradley is cute *enough* for how he fights bearing in mind the rest of his skillset. pretty tight defensively and enough movement. + not a great combination type puncher but picks shots, etc.....

How about Judah Witter 2. The winner gets another shot somewhere down the line.

After their first fight I think that the US TV execs would pay for that fight NOT to happen again.

Anyone else feel sure this fellow used to bowl for the West Indies.

Anybody know why Witter didn't have a rematch clause in the contract with Bradley? Was that because he was the mandatory challenger, or was this some sort of oversight by Witters management, or did Witter simply not think he'd succeed if given a rematch?

Money's not as good, though. Not sure he'll make 140. Massive neck so should have a good chin.

"Show me once where I've done such a thing"

On the thread about Hennessy's TV deal you were writing him off , and claiming to be a fan :geek:

even if witter had beaten bradley in style, the fight with hatton still wouldn't have happened, hatton would have still found some excuse not to fight him.

Colin Lynes should be EBU mandatory after being shafted.

Beagleboy,
OK read through my two posts on that thread, where I say I'm a staunch fan, but I wouldn't want to be selling him as a headliner to TV.
So why is that stabbing him in the back ?
Do you think he's box office ?
Would you as a TV Executive be concerned if he was headlining your show ?
That has nothing to do with his undoubted talent.
I will always pay to watch him - but there are many who won't.

Do you know why the interviewer kept pointing at him? That behind the scenes interviewer guy was acting like a clown all night.

Didn't he say an International contest rather than Intercontinental title??? (I fecking hope he did) insinuating that he's not going after the Euro title, I'd imagine that they're going to try and get Witter into a mandatory spot again
