THE waiting is almost over for for the former British, Commenwealth and European Champion Terry Dunstan - Terry has been out of jail nearly four years and after alot of thought has decided to come home to British Boxing and put a few wrongs right.
He said, ‘I let alot of people around me down, I want to prove to them and the British Public that I can do this and that I am worth all their support and love’
.
It will represent a personal triumph for a boxer who has turned his life round since being jailed in 2000 over false imprisonment, blackmail and aggravated burglary charges.
Terry’s opponent is the durable Paul Bonson, He has lost 101 of his 128 fights but has only been stopped 3 times, the 6ft 4 Londoner Dunstan wants to be the 4th to do the deed. The 39 year old is on his weight and ready to go, don’t miss this exciting fighter make his come back.

Iv always wondered who the Sheffield (or Sheffield area anyway) Heavyweight is who Iv seen at a few Naz fights (I think after his win over Augie Sanchez Naz climbed onto his shoulders) and was also giving instructions in Carl Thompson's corner when he beat Haye.
Here's the youtube vid of Haye v Thompson, at the end the guy runs in and hugs Thompson.

Terry Dunston,i like the guy but his time has passed
Fair play though, if Terry plays his cards right he can make some money,Terry got sacked for roughing up Lennox Lewis in sparring
(myth says he sparked lewis) i have heard rumours and it would not surprsie me if Terry did that,i know what Terry is like

James,
That's Maurice Core.
Manchester is not Sheffield, or Sheffield area - the other side of the Pennines !
He was British Light Heavy Champ in 1993.

Myths wrong, They sparred Lewis got Heavy through frustration, Terry got Heavier and bashed Him up for two rounds, at the end of the second they pulled Lennox out His legs had gone. years later they sparred again in America in preperation for Holyfield. After two sessions they pulled Him saying Lennox wanted His confidence up. Then Manny asked Him to take Lennox on the Pads and show Him some of the moves He was doing, Bollocks init

I remember reading about Dunstan - I think it was in the excellent 'Looking for a Fight' - and I have to say he didn't come across well at all. The impression I got was that he was the gym 'bully'.

Deserter, Ive never seen Him take a Liberty ever. He is the type you can put a welter in with and He will work with them, Thats why He will make a good Coach ask anybody at Repton

Happy to bow to your superior knowledge Scrap as I've no first-hand experience. From memory the book was based on experiences at Howard Rainey's gym in Sheffield and Dunstan seemed to be keen to make it clear that he was the top boy of the gym rather than the likes of Clinton Woods.

Real talent and real shame he took the career path he did and wasted his best years sitting in prison after some serious crimes.
Scrap: The Thompson fight has got to be one of the greatest cruiserweight fights ever. Was Dunstan living the correct lifestyle then or had he started to slip into the street life too much??

It started before that, I think before Gurov. I was hearing rumours for some time, But Id moved Base a Tel was in London. This comeback has taken two years, I wasnt going to be mugged again. The Kid has changed his Life around, its nice to be around Him, and He wants to prove a point. He has been Training for 3 years, nearly 40 going on 26. Anyone at His age and weight that can run 1,500 metres in 4 .23 you take notice

That is impressive running.
Obviously his cardio is great, his chin was always solid and he was good technically with a great punch.
He seems the kind of guy who would age well in the ring.
Happy he finally got his licence back, the board can be utter idiots sometimes.
However bad his crimes, he did the time. The board should have allowed him his licence!

I'm more impressed by that given his sheer size. That's a superb time.

Really the crime wasnt to bad, the problem was He isnt a grass. He didnt do what a lot of people thought He did me included, After evidence the Board showed common sense

You expect us to believe that Dunstan beat up Lennox Lewis and was jailed for a crime he didn't commit
