What a fat piece of shit. Can anybody remember a less spirited performance from any twenty-something major world title holder at heavyweight? The biggest surprise in this fight is how anybody could have given Peter a round. Credit to Vitali but this is possibly the worst performance I ever remember from a WBC champion. Probably the least intelligent heavyweight champion of all time. I hope he never comes back to fight again.

I concur wholeheartedly. I thought he'd at least give it a go in a bum's-rush, bombs-away stylee, & the useless fat fecker trundled along eating jabs with the same gusto he obviously uses to dine on KFC.

Well, heavyweight boxing is officially dead.

One of the top heavyweights in the world loses to a 37 year old crank who hasn't fought in nearly 4 years due to bad injuries.

And it shows that Danny Williams may have alot of faults, but he'd never quit like Peter did.

I'm glad Klitchsko is back, chuffed he won - if you could combine the power, chin, devil and psychology of Vitali and the skills Wladmir - you'd have a heavyweight that could cross the generations.

Peter was terrible, I've seen people on crutches with better footwork. Great performance by Vitali, he looked very good and I don't think that's entirely due to how bad Peter was.

The entrance of Vitali was the true Highlight!!

Vitali was very good. This is the first complete performance by a heavyweight in years. He did it without getting dropped 5 times, without falling over, without boring the shit out of everyone.

However, these guys make it too easy for Vitali. About 4 years after the Danny Williams fight, these guys are still coming into fights fat and slow, sitting ducks for those sharp long shots.

Klitschko should have come back earlier. He is very good, could easily have made 2 defences a year vs these plodders, and - he wouldn't have such a shallow body of work.

Peter looked like he was plodding through treacle shortly after being doped with horse tranqualiser.

Credit to Vitali though, he did the job required of him. Could have stamina problems if forced to fight at a higher pace me thinks, but the division is so piss poor right now.

This sport can be disappointing at times. I'll leave the Chad to tomoorow though, just like Dubya did.

I don't think I've ever seen a credible HW champion look so bad.

Can't say I like the open scoring. Even though he would have guessed he was well behind, would Peter have quit if he hadn't known he was officially 80-72, 80-72, 79-73 down on the cards after 8 rounds?

Anybody else notice that as he walked by the Foreman hologram, Foreman raised his fist to him? Don't know if this happened with them all but it was a nice touch.

I thought there was something wrong with Peters condition ,the other week when I saw Him doing His Roadwork. A woman pushing a pram past Him.

the thing that pisses me off with vitali is that he was beating the crap out of Peter but never tried to finsh him off. Both Klitschkos just dont have a killer instinct. They have to wait until there are virtually on there knees until they knock them out. I dont think Haye will beat either of them but he will certainly slip at least half the punches peter took and will be so much faster.

Watching the fight tonight , i kept thinking about what would Haye do?
and he would definatly bang in a few more shots, but maybe the Klitschkos have perfected the throw a shot and grab technique.
Also i was thinking Chris Arreola would give the Klitschkos a fight as well. he's the best american i can see
