don't think there is only one good reason buster. i know i laid off for a while because of the incessant bullshit being posted by two or three blokes, and at the same time the better posters seemed to be having a break, don't know if it was for the same reason. but not only the quantity of posts have improved also the quality, hmmmm. marlin went O/S, brute had a spell and others seemed to just drop off. i have been busier with my fitness clients through the day now the weather is picking up but i still was looking a lot.

Sorry unleash, but I will still be continuing to post.
I haven't been posting lately (other than the sim forum) mostly because I just had nothing to add to the posts.
Where's UB2? Did he go away? As annoying as his Mundine nut-hugging got I was amused more often than not (sometimes not) by his posts and man-crush on Mundine.

I'll interrupt this cosy fireside chat for some -wait for it- BOXING! Looks a fair chance that Tommy Browne ( who has moved up in weight ) will fight Lenny Zappa in December. Should be a good one. How do you all think this will go ? Should be one of the best local matchups for quite a while.

I'm not sure how Tommy will go after moving up in weight, I realise he probably can't make the lighter weight anymore but I don't think he will be a world beater... should go the distance though.

I think Tommy is a bit underrated. In 2005 he fought for both the wbc & wba featherweight titles, losing on a decision to In Jin Chi & on a 10th round stoppage to Chris John, who is still undefeated world champion. Tommy has held a world junior title ( whatever that is ) & several regional titles. His points loss to Kickett was his first fight in 15 months & his first at a heavier weight. He wasn't too far away in that fight for a guy clearly underdone fitness wise.It should be a good guide as to whether Lenny can do more than smash inferior opponents.

The time away from the ring is a big problem. he is def' getting busy again but he needs this fight against Zappa to see where he is at. this will be a good test. Zappa by points

Well don't hold back "Unleash06", you told us who is cool, who's not in the cliche?

sorry hounddog but didnt mention 'cool or 'cliche'. i gave some reasons why the forum may not have been as busy as usual. take it how you like mate. doesn't take too much to work out who knows a bit about boxing and who is on here just shit stirring. i got sick of the crap that was going on for a few weeks from 2-3 blokes. i mentioned marlin and brute because when I first started posting they were on here all the time. no 'cool' or 'cliche'.

Fairplay, it was a thread i was thinking of starting, because it was dead in Aussie boxing.
Good to have those guys back on board.

I've been told to only train for three rounds. Apparently there's a clause in my contract that says I can't have the fitness to fight past that. It's a 10 round fight. So I'm trying not to train too hard. So you may want to change that tip
