It's a 10 rounder then, although I'll eat my keyboard if it goes the distance

For the pessimists among us, Barretts prices in the first 4 rounds could look tempting

All the odds on Barrett are very tempting, it is ridiculous that betting wise he is such an outsider

Yes especially as Haye has never taken a punch from a Heavyweight. 28/1 for the first two rounds looks tempting as does Haye's at 7/1 and 13/2.
I don't see this fight going more than a couple of rounds.

Those round odds are too good to say "No". Say "Hi" to Stan for me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gevbyHDe6Mc - Barret - Fields KO, Monte can crack himself and has good skills and counters. I fancy Haye under 3 rounds

4/6 for the Haye KO is the bet for, I'm already on as I don't that price will be about for to long.

Yeah what bookies? Ladbrokes have got Haye at 2/5 for the KO, Barrett's 7/1

Haye Early, Barrett Mid to Late sounds good to me.

Very tempting - Haye tended to tire at cruiser, so he's bound to with all that muscle packed on his frame. If he does, Barrett cracks hard enough to put him over.

I think Haye will probably come out bombing like he did agaisnt Bonin, and if he doesn't make a dent in the first couple - will settle into a more circumspect fight plan. This is where it gets interesting.

Barrett will come in hungry ready to win, this could be his meal ticket. i don't think Haye blasts him out that quick, Monte has been hit by a peak Wlad, the one who actually let his hands go. I think Haye will have to endure some rough moments before he pulls it out.

Haye TKO 7

Haye will likely take a look in the first round. By the end of the second, though, he'll have landed a couple.

Haye in two, with smaller hedge on a Barrett KO.

I could quote Bob Arum before Benn -- Barkley for this.

Quick question about betting: In a fight like this, do bookies let you back both men?

For example, if Shavers had met Foreman, what would've stopped everyone putting £10 per round on both men for a KO in the opening two (besides poor odds, of course)?

Yes

Nothing - but if the fight didn't end in the first two rounds, all the punters would lose their money.

Odds are worked out mathematically so there is always a 10-15% margin in favour of the house in two opposing outcomes.

That WAS the case until betfair came around and now with punters playing 'bookie' there are often betting arbitrage opportunities out there..

A mate of mine makes a very comfortable living out of it.
