I reckon Arthur was on the Khan radar a long time ago.

There's a fair amount of brazen self-denial there, but if what he says about being able to weigh over 11 stone and still have a six pack is true, then maybe lightweight is best for him.

Further, the list of potential sparring parners for him out in Vagas sounds good, if fantastical.

Too risky that for Wazza.
Why would he do it, when separately they can run their own bills and earn Wazza dosh ?

Arthur will be fine at British level and Commonwealth and i think he gives Thaxton plenty of trouble. The World level is stacked tho.

He got there at 130 but as much as i'd love Alex too the World level is gonna be very very hard.

Thought Nicky Cook "admitted" that he lost! and that there was no weight making problem?

Arthur needed to move up ages ago. When you have titles though, It makes you too stubborn to vacate them like with Scott Harrison.

Definitely. He was a good Euro champ. I think he looked strong vs that Spaniard, but when he fought Gogoladze and Foster he just looked weaker and more vulnerable at the weight, til there was nothing left vs Cook. He was so slow, sluggish, not that he was ever world class. Obviously the life long quest to be WBO champ kept him down.

I'd like to see him challenge for the British (Murray) or Euro (Thaxton) titles.

Bad thing about it was that Arthur was in the IBF top 4 for a long time, when there were a poor succession of champions. But went the WBO route.

Move to lightweight? he must have had a real harty meal with Nicky Cook after their fight.

I think long as he doesn't get 3x English judges he should do fine.
