Arena Box-Promotion has inked a co-promotional pact with Decubas Presents to promote Amir Khan-conqueror Breidis Prescott (20-0, 18 KOs). The WBO #5, WBC/WBA #10 lightweight Prescott is expected to campaign primarily in the United States. "The boy is a jewel," said promoter Ahmet Öner. "And lightweight is a very interesting weight class. Waiting there are the world's top international superstars such as Manny Pacquiao, Nate Campbell and Juan Manuel Marquez....and Breidis is not so far away from these names."

Maybe Arena isn't the greatest promotion company of all.... but surely it is better than matches against the likes of Willie Limond for the vacant Commonwealth (yes, I am sure Columbia can become part of the Commonwealth) title in half filled leisure centres.
