Can always be a bit of fun --- some standard arcade fare, here. Name the fighter on the basis of their nickname. I'll start...

"The Black Hercules."

Mike Weaver? Or was he just Hercules?

How about "The Black Cloud"?

It was Kenny Norton, though I believe Weaver had a similar alias.

You've got me with your one.

Cool moniker, that. Was owned by one-time model Kevin Lueshing.

Really easy, sorry: "Happy".

This is rather embarrassing. I seem to recall a 1980s fighter with the nickname "Psycho" but the name has gone now.

Sorry.

Carlos Hernandez, I think?

Here's a somewhat obscure one --- "Soak 'Em."

Never heard that one.

Here's one I heard announced just a couple of weeks ago on a big show:

The Fat Dorky White Guy

Even with the answer I'm still no wiser... :D

Chauncey Welliver was introduced as The Fat Dorky White Guy the other week when he was fighting Odlanier Solis.

I'm a little sketchy on the details as I was told of this one years ago, but apparently, there was a fighter in the 30's (a Lightweight, I think) known for absorbing tremendous punishment, & bleeding profusely for his troubles, hence, "Soak 'Em" Yoakum.

..danny womber....welterweight of the 1950s was also known as bang bang. he fought johnny bratton and won and gavilan and lost. neither was a title fight. was popular on tv because of his aggressive two handed punching.
